The course rates a high mark because it is so scenic and well groomed. Cut through the woods, with challenging, narrow fairways, this is probably not a good course for the beginner, unless you happen to have a bunch of old golf balls you can afford to lose in the woods. Some of the holes are downright diabolical. But for the good to excellent golfer, this course is a good test. The greens are in great shape and roll true and generally fast. I don't give it a great mark because there really is no clubhouse, just a temporary building with a small grill and tiny pro area. The fees are also fairly stiff.

Played there for my first time and had a great day (not a great score though). Course was in great shape and the greens were true. I will play there again when in the area.
