Great place and very nice owner. Wines are good. Got to have the chocolate wine. Owner honored a wine tour that didn't exist at his establishment. A delightful place to visit.

We visit Hershey every year and this was our second trip to Cullari Winery. It will not be our last. Our party consisted of my parents, my husband, our 8 year old son, and myself. Our son sat at the table and played on his tablet while the adults did the tasting. The atmosphere is very nice and intimate. You and your party are seated at a table and a hostess comes around and takes your tasting orders. We were offered 5 tastings for (I think) $3.00. We purchased wine so the tasting cost was deducted from our bill. They have a good variety of wines to choose from, and you must try the Coco Nostra (complete with a Hershey's Kiss" if you visit. Such an interesting flavor. There is a small table set up in the back where you can help yourself to some snacks in between tastings. This is a very relaxing way to spend a few hours in the afternoon.

Cullari Winery was the last stop of our day before my husband and I headed back to our hotel. It was a very relaxing experience. Instead of standing at a bar, we were seated at a table. Our server was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some of their most popular wines, such as White on White and the chocolate wine. I have never liked chocolate wine until I tried Cullari's Coco Nostra! The tasting fee was $5 for 6 tastings. I expected the $5 to be taken off of the bill if we bought a few bottles of wine, but it wasn't. Rather, you get to keep your wine glasses and the wine was put in a wine carrier instead of a paper bag or box. So the fee was worth it.

This was the third and last stop of our wine tasting day. For full-disclosure we are not big fans of PA Wines but know you must consider the many factors that limit, promote the cultivation and growth of the grapes. This is a tasting room with the vineyards some 6 or 7 miles away from which some of the wines are made, the rest of the grapes are brought in.The atmosphere is great as several contributors have noted. On Saturday you get 6 samples for $5, get to keep the glass and get 10% off on purchases. In addition there is a nice little snack table with cheese and crackers to clean the palate. Unlike most tastings this is a sit down experience usually experienced by wine club members at other wineries. The bride and I sampled 8 dry red wines by sharing some of the pairings. All of the wines were in the $12 - $14 range. Of note was the Pinot Noir. While not in the class of West Coast Pinot Noirs, it had a distinct nose and and a slightly oaky taste with hints of fruit. Their best selling Spectacullari was also good. We ending buying a few bottles of the Pinot Noir. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating which enhanced our experience.

We did the wine tasting, which is a bargain at $5 for 6 tries. You also get to keep the logo glass. We purchased 3 bottles. Very nice employee working. She was very knowledgeable about area attractions and recommendations.

Just went to Cullari s tasting room in Hershey for the first time today. The wines were all very good and the hospitality of the servers were excellent. The servers were so attentive and helpful. Great wines. I highly recommend a stop here.

I am sorry that I didn't think to review this Winery when we visited last summer. But we stopped at Hershey in route to Reading. We wanted to get some wine to enjoy once we checked in at our hotel in Reading and we thought it might be fun to stop there again. The staff is very nice. They seem to enjoy talking to folks and getting to know you a bit. They offer a couple of different tasting options, how many wines, add in some cheese and crackers. It is enjoyable to sit, review the list independently and they also explain, ask what you like and don't like. The wines are very reasonable too. They also offer a frequent buyer card too if you plan to visit the area often. There is something for everyone if you enjoy wine. It is on Chocolate Avenue, not too hard to find. It is up a bit from the bigger hotels, down around some of the smaller independent motels. Both visits were nice and enjoyable and we were able to get two nice bottles of wine to enjoy at our hotel in the evening. I think it is safe to say we will always visit Cullari when we are in the Hershey area.

although we only went to the tasting room, it was very interesting to hear the story of mr. cullari. the vineyard itself is at his private home and out of town.the person there was very informative and the wines were very good and some very different than i have had before.

We visited 8 wineries the day we were here, we were tired and our taste buds were suffering. Our hotel was nearby and we stopped here to end our day. We are so glad we did!! Nice wines, attentive server, and relaxing atmosphere. A perfect end to our day! Thank you!

Who would think that sweet little Hershey, PA could produce wines of this quality? The VINTNER: Do you have that favorite pair of jeans that fit you just right? You know, the ones that were a perfect fit in the store and are still just that comfy right out of the dryer; they don't bind or pinch or sag in the bum or rub you wrong anywhere? Well, Sal Cullari is just that comfortable from the first time you meet him and he is consistently gracious, welcoming, and helpful each time you visit his tasting shop on East Chocolate Avenue in Hershey. The WINES: This past July we spent two weeks in the Somona and Napa Valleys; lost count of the number of wineries we visited and wines we tasted and/or drank. Quite literally, there was only one wine from our entire trip that we considered as lovely as our favorites from Cullari Vineyards. Since it was quadruple the price of anything in Sal's shop, and that was before adding shipping and Pennsylvania's outrageous direct wine shipping tax, we didn't bother to bring any home!Chambourcin, Spectacullari, Simply Red #2, and White on White are our favorites. People seem to enjoy feeling connected to the foods they eat and the beer, wine, and spirits they drink, Sal Cullari's wines are always a welcomed hostess gift so, being Hershey residents, we visit about once a quarter to stock up. When you're there next, why not have him autograph some bottles of Spectacullari; it makes for a nice story to add to the gift bottle?

Nice selection of wines at this tasting room (not located at the vineyard). Visited several years ago and several of the wines have even been improved since. Couldn't leave without several bottles again! Take time to stop by and taste.

Visited Cullari Tasting room as part of the Hershey/Harrisburg Cornucopia of Wine event and was not disappointed. Cullari was our last stop over 2 days and we had so much fun. Everyone (especially the owner) was welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. We tasted lots of great wine and appreciated the spread of food. We really enjoyed decorating the wine bottle (something I will definitely do at home now that I know it can be done) and felt that is was a great end to an even greater weekend. While this is just a tasting room, they really do it right. If ever visiting Hershey and you need something to do definitely stop by Cullari. Thanks Cullari.

We often visit Cullari's tasting room when in Hershey, and absolutely love the wonderful wines. Most of our local wineries excel at whites and the sweeter wines, so it is nice to have a good go-to winery for some great red wines (especially the Spectacullari, my favorite!) Their entire selection is very good. If you are touring wineries in and around the Lancaster-York-Harrisburg area, this is one you do not want to miss!

I stopped by Cullari after visiting Hershey Park (not the rides, just the tour). I had a wonderful time, great wine, great energy and very helpful folks. Brian was very knowledgeable about the wines and wine pairings. I'm not a sweet wine or white wine fan but the Vidal Blanc is so good, I really wish I could get more! The fruit wines seem to be very popular, but not my taste. The Coco Nostra, however is a must!

a pleasure to visit. Will come back again when I am in the area. Hesitated coming in because it wasn't on a Vineyard but we thought it was worth a shot. So glad I didn't drive away. Michelle was a pleasure and wine was great and reasonably priced
