If you've never been to the town (buildings) of Gettysburg, this experience will take you right through the main streets, from one end to the next. Not knowing a whole lot about it ahead of time as we were just joining my family for the occasion, it was nice because I usually think of the "battlefields" as the things to see in Gettysburg, but walking the streets of the historic town was something I had not yet done in all my visits. The actors did a great job – we enjoyed it from beginning to end! It's totally custom to each group as they played off of our "performance", too. Marks to Natasha; I see why she gets referenced in so many of these reviews! The whole thing is easy for adults to enjoy and especially fun if you have kids. I'd go again. They should do this in other places, too.

We enjoyed every step! The story line was well thought out and the actors played their parts well!We were drawn into the story from the first encounter. The clues were fun to figure out!Our whole group got a kick out of it. Great way to see Gettysburg! Thanks Natasha!

Due to circumstances beyond our control we were forced to cancel the Sept 21, 2014 adventures. We are extremely sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment that this caused you in your vacation. We at Lincoln's Lost Treasure take the experience of our guests and their feedback very seriously. In compliance with our procedures, if there is a problem we notify customers as quickly as possible both through e-mail and direct phone calls. It is our understanding that on Sept 18th, three days prior to the event an e-mail and voice messages were delivered. If that information was not received, we do take responsibilty and do apologize. We did refund any paid amounts in a very timely manner in accordance with our ticket agency policies. Though this very rarely happens, we will review our procedures to ensure against any lack in communication to our customers. Again we do apologize and as you can see from the previous reviews, we take great pride in making Lincoln's Lost Treasure a memorable and unique adventure for our guests.

Not to give anything away, but my daughter and the other family who participated were in to it from the beginning. Great characters and great locations. Hello Natasha!

It was a lot of walking but not too much for our 6 and 8 year olds. It was fun. At first we wondered if it was legit because we met in a grave yard....but it was. Each place gave us a clue for our next meeting place. The kids loved it. It took over 2 hours. The ending felt a little awkward but I am glad we did it!

We had a great time recently experiencing Lincoln's Lost Treasure. It was fun to discover new places in Gettysburg, which we would have never visited. It was very exciting to meet the characters. We had the most fun with Natasha. We had several children in our group, ages 3-11. This activity is great for the 8+ range, I would say. My 3 year old got absolutely nothing out of it, and my 6 and 7 year olds were scared. I think it could be even better if more puzzles were added. We had a lot of fun figuring out the one puzzle we were given. It added to the suspense for us. Overall, we had a great experience.

This was a great event that my kids loved (girls ages 9 & 12). It was fun, we enjoyed the other family we met, and the kids haven't stopped telling their friends about doing this. It was great! I wasn't sure what to expect but we had to walk around town following clues. My kids loved the suspense and my oldest will never forget Oscar!! Highly recommend!!!!

Fun scavenger hunt outing thru Gettysburg town. We had fun and it seemed like the actors had fun too... unless they were THAT GOOD at acting! Kids enjoyed it too.

my wife really enjoyed the experiance was fun and interesting nice way to see the town.the actors were funny and if they had an adult theme with adult beverages it could be off the hook

This was a very fun activity. However, I feel like it could be even better. The real issue I had was a group of people put in the group with us. I understand this is not the fault of the company but it would be nice to do this on your own if wanted. I also really thought we'd be getting pieces of history making this a learning event. That was not the case. We got clues at the end of things hidden in the paperwork, but they weren't there for us to figure out. In fact, I'm not sure why they were there. I don't really feel like we found the lost treasure because of this. This could be better if we had to figure things out a bit more. We basically just jumped address to address. I intended on needing to use my brain to figure out the next location. Also. .. you are supposed to get a phone call with info before the activity starts. We never received this call and messed things up from the get go because of this.The actors were fabulous and I think this has a lot of potential to be great.

This experience was a lot of fun! My three kids 12, 10, and 8 loved it. My wife and I did as well. Walk the town of Gettysburg trying to solve a mystery. Play along, join in the conversation, banter with the actors, and have an experience! We just did this today and my kids are still talking and laughing about it! Great fun!

As long as you are opening to, and willing to participate in, a little silliness this is a really fun way to spend a couple of hours. I gave it a "Very Good" rating instead of "excellent" due to the cost. Although we had a really fun time, I expected something more for the money. Without giving too much away, you are lead all over the main "strip" in search of clues and people who will lead you to your objective. You end up in places that you may not have stumbled upon on your own, which was great and you receive a snack and beverages along the way. What I would have liked to have seen was a little more history about Gettysburg regarding the places we stopped added into the clues. And maybe more historic buildings added to the list. The snack and beverages were not worth mentioning so if you think that the food makes up some of the cost, as I did, that would be wrong. Overall, we had a great time and I am still talking about it to friends, but it really shouldn't be this expensive.
