I have been to more than 20 breweries and the atmosphere , beer, and total experience was the best. And there are a lot of good breweries. Not to knock any of them I just loved my visit to shorts the best!

Enjoyed an evening listening to Lindsay Lou & The Flatbelly's at Short's. Our service was wonderful, the pizza was awesome. I was disappointed that my favorite brew: Soft Parade wasn't on tap!

This is no joke they take your beer very seriously. I have been to so many of these microbrews where they sell you the idea of a unique beer with a subtle hint of something that's barely perceptible...... not here this beer is bold in your face coming like a freight train hit you upside the head delicious. The bloody bear beer is made with tomatoes celery seed horseradish it tastes like a real bloody Mary, unique and fantastic actually could even be a meal. The gitschy gitschy experimental was tasty it was lemongrass and lavender maybe a little bit of grapefruit finished a little overly bitter but was very unique upfront. I really liked the Nicey Spicey it had a definite blast of white pepper which I am generally not a fan of in food that worked very nice in the beer, had a little tiny burn in the throat which I quite enjoyed being a lover of spicy food. We also tried the Woodsman The big dark bold mapely toast Pecan beer that was sweet without being overly so very delicious. These beers are for the adventurous not for someone who likes to swill basic American lagers from the 7-11. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well very friendly with high tops with a very rustic rough-and-tumble finish. Seems to be a very popular place as they sell lots of T-shirts, must be in 14 different types very creative graphics and styles. my husband came home with one that looks like a garage workshirt with the name badge on front and the fun logo on the back and dark gray. Wasn't cheap but it's very unique. In the hour we spent there we must have seen them so at least 10 to 15 T-shirts. Valerie was our waitress she was adorable bubbly very friendly great service and generous with letting a sample whatever we wanted. The menu consisted of a few appetizers lots of different sandwiches and pizzas. We did not eat as I am gluten-free but the pizza looked good although I imagine that they buy the frozen crusts and top them to order. A guy next to us was eating salsa that looked very uninspired

Stumbled on this brewery and had to check it out since we love their beer... on a fluke ordered a pizza and now it's a must stop at place any time we're up north! We haven't been back without munchkins to check out the live music, but maybe some day!!

I met up with friends here with my five kids and their kid as well. The food was awesome and their specialty beers were really good. I had one of their seasonals and a good IPA they make. We had six kids with us but were still excellently taken care of. One thing, it is seat your self and it tend to be busy so ensure you plan on that if you have a big party. We sat at two tables after one next to is opened up. The place is pretty loud so kids making noise is not an issue. We did not go during the live music, so that may be different with kids. All in all, loved the good, service, and beer. A mist if going through Bellaire.

20+ beers, so something for everyone. Great live music the night we were there. Friendly people with seating at big tables. Had as much fun there as just about any bar ever. No TV's and the lights are on - the idea is to talk to the people you came with and to make new friends while you are there.

We always make it a point to drive to Short's when we are in the area. We have always been a fan of their beer, and the food at the pub is unique and delicious! Always a good time, and have never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We have also seen some great live music there, as well. We'll be back in the spring!
