Easy access off I-94 for everyone traveling from Chicago to Detroit or vice versa. The selection is excellent, and the brewery is extremely eye appealing with all the glass mugs from members on display. Family friendly in the daylight hours. Food is AMAZING!For those just looking for growler fills, or merchandise, just stop across the street to their annex and many of the beers are there without the wait.We visited from North Carolina and loved it!

Last year (2013) I went to the Greenbush on a few occasions whilst visiting friends in the same area, and much to my delight it was a great place with a difference. The beers are made on the premises which you can see being done through the window into the brewing area, and there is a good choice to sample, be careful of the strengths though as you may end up feeling someone has stolen your legs when it's time to leave ! To top this the food is good, the staff are sociable and it's a great atmosphere within the original interior design. I visited again this year and still feel the same plus, there is now an additional outdoor area for drinking, relaxing and playing "boule" and other outdoor games, which on a good dry day will make the time a good social. The only down side I felt this time was that the music, some good sounds I must say, was getting louder and louder each time I went in. I know the main reason for being there is the beer but it's still good to talk to the company you are sharing with. Still a great place and a bonus for the local area.

I grew up in the area but live in another state. I make it a point to go to Greenbush every time I come home. It is always busy so plan accordingly. The beer is delicious and fresh. We had a sampler BBQ platter last month that was very tasty. We also always get the pretzels and cheese spread. It is simple but very good. I love the Sunspot and Dunegrass. The beer selections are posted on the wall with the alcohol percentage listed. You can buy a Growler to take home the delicious beer, as well.

We stay in Sawyer every year for the month of September with family and ever since Greenbush opened several years ago we became fans. It started as just a brewery with a few snacks and now has an annex building across the street and an expanded menu with outstanding soups, salads and sandwiches. Love the ambiance (growlers, metal work, natural wood, great big windows with natural lighting). There is a small outdoor patio and another patio across the street next to the annex building. This place rocks! It's always busy and everyone looks very happy :)

Great atmosphere. GREAT food! Great beer. Fast, friendly service. We did have to wait for a table, but it was well worth it!

Road trip! I drove to Greenbush from Chicago (via 3 Floyds in Munster IN) for a beer...or three. The Tractor (cream ale and not typically my style), 1825 (Belgian strong), Sunspot (hefe), and Dunegras IPA (American IPA) were all great. Brother Benjamin (DIPA) was amazing. The staff was pleasant, and I hear the food is wonderful, too. I highly recommend this place!

Two girlfriends and I took the Suncoast Trolley from St. Joseph to Greenbush Brewing Company. It was extremely crowded upon arrival and we were told it would be a 50 minute wait for a table. We ended up waiting a quick 10 minutes before being seated. Be aware you are only able to order drinks from one part of the bar, causing there to be a wait to get your drinks. The atmosphere of the brewery/restaurant is very laid back. Be aware heavy metal music plays at different times and can be kind of obnoxious. I asked our server if the music could be changed and she told me absolutely not, this is music that the owners like. The service was slow but I think that was a server issue.

I have gone on many of the major brewery tours but this was my 1st craft beer tour. Pete and Beach were some of the best tour givers out there. It was a great experience to hear about how they make their beer from the guys that actually do it. They were funny and happy to answer all of our questions. We ate at the taproom before touring the facilities. The flights were a great idea especially 1825! All but 1 person at our table at the pulled pork sandwich and it was a great decision.....the coffee infused BBQ sauce was spectacular!Overall I can't wait to make a day trip back to Sawyer to go to this brewery!

Great beers, killer wings and good pizza! I like how they even allow you to refill growlers from other breweries. Some places are jerks and only allow growler refills from their own brewery. The inside is a bit too small, probably because this place is becoming more and more popular. I figured going on a Sunday late afternoon would be not so busy, but it was. They do have an out area to fit more people. Some growlers are a little pricey, so I'll subtract a point for that. Otherwise, great brewery in SW Michigan.

Fine craft beers, very good food, crowds, and good merchandise. This is a great success story for a local business venture.

We were there around noon and they were very busy. We were waited on fairly quickly and the food arrived fairly soon. We both had sandwiches with a choice of several sides. The sandwiches were very good and very thick. Good place for lunch.

Come for the handcrafted beer. Stay for the sandwiches. If you do that, you will be coming back a lot for lunch because the food is creative, tasty, interesting, and great.

Beer is okay - very hoppy with unique tastes - some good/some bad, depending on your taste. Prefer other breweries in Berrien Co. Food is good. Atmosphere is great for lunch during the week, energetic and crowded on weekends. Overall not a bad place in Sawyer to frequent from time to time.

This is place is a terrific little gem in tiny but very cute Sawyer. I just made my third trip there while my wife was gambling at Four Winds. I am a fan of craft beer and small breweries/brewpubs, but not all of the products from these places are good. The product here is excellent and there is very good variety - more approachable light beers as well as big and heavy porters and stouts, that are very creative and flavorful. I had an imperial porter that was dynamite. The atmosphere is very cool, kind of warehouse/industrial chic and the brewery itself is in back. The service is friendly and helpful and they will let you have a little sample of a beer before you commit, which is great. Very good food, too, especially the pulled pork (they have their own smoker). This place is worth a side trip to Sawyer for a visit, as is Tapistry up the road in Bridgman, which also has good beer and food.
