Every fall Franklin Cider Mill has delicious homemade donuts and cider along with many apple related goodies for sale. We stop by Starbucks, grab a latte then head to the Cider Mill for donuts and sit outside with friends and visit. It's a fall tradition!

Put this on your list of fall musts! The cider is great and the atmosphere is hopping. It is fun to watch and feed the ducks. I am gluten free so I can't eat the donuts but I love the smell. I buy a lovely honey crisp apple and some cider and I sit for awhile to people watch and enjoy the beautiful Michigan fall weather!

Franklin Cider Mill has all others beat when it comes to fresh cider mill doughnuts. Just the right amount of spice. The plain are delicious! They offer a lot of other bakery products as well. Only drawback is this is not a pick your own apple place for those of you looking for that adventure.

light and crisp in September, rich and full-bodied in November. This cider is the real deal and does change character during the fall season. It's the best I've had in Michigan. We buy 8-10 gallons and freeze it so we can drink it all year round. If you get those warm donuts, do so at your own peril

Had too many bees around to sit in the open and enjoy a warm cider and donuts. Very nice and expensive place. For a eve or wknd.

I've been going to the Franklin Cider Mill for years. The cider is the freshest, not pasteurized. And the donuts are sinful. Because of the calories involved, I limit the visits to twice a season, but I wouldn't skip it entirely. It is a tradition! However, the prices have gone sky high in the last few years. It used to be an inexpensive treat for the family; now it is an extravagant one!

People adore the cider mill. It is a fun place to grab delicious cider and donuts and then to walk around downtown Franklin and visit the little boutiques. Personally, I would grab cider and donuts and head over to the church and have the kids play on the playground. Be sure to bring lots and lots of cash because it is way overpriced and I think cash only.

Ok, So I grew up at this place and no other cider mill will ever be able to take it's place. The cider is so yummy! BUT the best thing is the donuts, far and away. I have no idea what they do to the batter but man it's out of this world. You can watch them make the donuts and cider on site. It has an historical designation and the fall atmosphere is just perfect. WARNING: Get extra donuts because the first half dozen wont make it out of the parking lot.

We were visiting Family and wanted to go to the cider mill because it had been years since we had been. It was wonderful and the same quality and friendliness as in years past. The cider and donuts are nothing but YUMMMMMY!!!. A wonderful way to kick off the Fall Holiday season! Don't forget to try the Fruit butters they have. Apple, Berry, Peach Pear ..... So tasty and they have a sugar free apple butter as well.

Best cider and donuts you will find. Super cute barn setting, family owned and operated for centuries.

The location is great. It is the only cider mill in southern Oakland County. The location is scenic but there isn't much land so it is tight particularly on weekends when the weather is good. But you pay dearly for the close location. Cider is about $11/gallon and that's for the non honeycrisp cider which is more expensive yet. The cider is decent but not among the best by any means. I recently went to the Ann Arbor Farmer's Market and the cider was $6.50/gallon and the taste blew the Franklin cider away. The donuts are really greasy but most people love them to be fair. Our other caution is that the location swarms with yellow jackets when the weather is warm so be warned if you have an allergy to wasp stings. Carry an epi pen if you go.

for old fashioned donuts and great cider and atmosphere go to Dexter cider mill, new Ann Arbor. Franklin is fine but once you see Dexter you will understand. Drive huron River rd on a sunny Fall day and you will love it

Franklin Cidermill is a hidden gem. It is located along the Franklin river where you may sit along to enjoy your cider and donuts. The apple pressing is very interesting to watch for the young and old alike. The only con I have is that there is minimal parking.

Cute to see and good cider. But nothing more than a fruit stand with a real apple press. I would add a stop here to get a day started but nothing more.

This is a nice quick trip to get cider and donuts. You can see cider being made, eat your donuts beside a creek. Buy fresh apples and other fine fall treats.
