oakland hills golf club

I have been playing at Oakland hills for years and it has been one of my favorite courses to golf. Yes the owner is particular and strict, but it is a part of his charm. After 6 years out of state and returning, the course is not maintained to it's best potential anymore. Areas that were once rough and mowed are now tall grass and a magnet for lost balls. The course is otherwise very fun and the greens are nice a large, but the lack in upkeep has lowered by enjoyment of this course.

Well maintained course, friendly and affordable. The greens were great. Oakland hills golf club is right across the freeway from the casino.

If you want to be told about a bunch of course rules like you have never played before come here. Oh and if you are especially forgetful don't worry, there are plenty of signs to remind you of how to act on this hollowed ground. Would be a fun little course. Problem is the owner is so clueless. What's worse is he has no idea, even though he has been told so many times.

Our first impression as we drove up to the club house; peaceful, friendly, tranquillity that is tucked away just off the busy highway. Love the lay-out. The greens are the best we have ever played on. This course is very well maintained and has lots of character. Take a moment to hear of the history of the land and of the club house from the owner. George is super friendly and an awesome proprietor that is very proud of his accomplishments. We will definitely play this course again. Highly recommend. Gaines, Michigan

Oakland Hills is a fun little course to play, and their greens are some of the best around. It's not the fanciest course, but has lots of character...as does the owner!
