The ability to go to taste wine and beer at the same location. I do not drink beer but I go with people who don't drink wine. The fun to go to the same place and taste at the same time. They have different drinks to taste on different days. Great place for a great time.

Nice friendly service, free 2 tastings, many great choices, loved the chilled summer selections. Had chilled varieties to take with you.

We went and my wife did the beer tasting. It's pretty good for 6 tastings and a free glass for 8.95. Here you build your own six packs with MOST beers at 1.95 a bottle, make sure you check the price though. She bought a sick pack that cost 23 dollars since the beer was 4 bucks a bottle! We did have a great host, he was nice n knowledgable and funny. If you go, make sure you ask to try the Black and Tan! It's yummy!!!

We went to the location in Manistique, and it was nice, but expensive. I was surprised at the price for the red and white wines. The fruit wines were affordable, but too sweet. the grape wines, Merlot, blends and Cabs were all $25/bottle. They were nice but not worth that price.

I stopped by for a wine tasting and they offered 4 wines and a commemorative glass that said Mackinac Island Winery, which was etched with a gold rim. The cost was only $4.95. I chose four whites, and I have to say, the Chardonnay was amazing. I usually go for a pinot grigio, or a sauvignon blanc, but this Chardonnay was unlike any I have ever tried. It was less dry than the usual chardonnay, and a hint sweet. More of a fresh crisp green apple sweet, with some citrus. Evidently, the wine is aged in stainless steel, and you can really taste the difference in flavor. I loved it! The overall selection was great. Stop in if you get the chance! PS. this winery is in Mackinac City, but they have another location on the island, as well.
