We take our dog here regularly. It's a great place to let the dog run and socialize with other dogs of all sizes. It is a popular place and set up nice with different size dog runs from small to very large.

Not only do I like this place but my dog absolutely loves it! My wife and I come on a weekly basis to the park to either walk our dog or biking the adjacent trails (paved). The park has four different/separated areas for dogs to run free. The largest of the areas is huge and doesn't have any restrictions on the size of dog. If you have a larger dog that needs a place to run, this area is the one for you! The second largest of the areas is for small dogs. My Bishon is a pain around large dogs so this is where we stick to. There is also two other small areas for less sociable dogs. There's a pavilion and benches for the humans to use and well as watering stations for the dogs. We've rarely ever had any issues as most of the owners we've met are friendly and responsible. Mean/aggressive dogs are not welcome and neither are females in heat. The smaller areas can be used at first, if you're unsure of how your dog will react in the larger areas to ease their transition. This is a wonderful place easily reached by car, bike or walk (by way of the Black Creek Trail), that is one of my favorite places in the area.

If rainy there can be lots of mud puddles. Also, not all pet owners are responsible and don't pick up after their dogs. Lastly, for whatever reason, the Township hasn't turned the "hydrant fountain" on at the main entrance yet this summer. But, overall, a nice place for your pets to play if you visit when the aggressive dogs aren't there. No patrolling either so if you have a problem, it's up to you to solve it.
