This is my favorite course I've ever been too. I haven't been to very many super nice courses, but this one was well worth the price. First off, the course is very well kept. It's a course laid out along the thornapple river along the backside of the course. The river doesn't give you too much of a challenge, but it is really beautiful. The course was just easy enough, a golfer with around a 20 hcp would be pleased, but also would have challenge, and still be worth it. The carts they have are awesome. They have touchpad screens in them showing you where on the hole you are and gives you distances from the tee, to the hole, and to many hazards. Definitely someplace I will visit again.

Beautiful tract, that is well maintained by a very helpful staff. The layout is a challenge and the views are breath taking. Sure there are planes, trains and cars, but they just seem to add to the ambiance. Who cares about all that when you are playing along the Thornapple River waving at the boaters who are laughing at the shot you just rolled into the river. All equipment is well maintained including the clubhouse facilities. Don't miss a chance to play here. Pricing is fare with outstanding specials.

Planes, cars, boats & trains are all part of experiencing this marvelous golf challenge. Set in beautiful Kent County by the Grand River, this course challenges all skill levels and rewards with a beautiful course and terrific setting.

Challenging, beautiful 18-hole links course close to the airport, with a comfortable well-equipped clubhouse. Enchanting fireflies at dusk. Premium craft beers on tap at the end of the round. Very friendly, helpful staff, both inside and out.

You can generally walk on any early afternoon. The course staff are very accommodating and helpful. The only drawback is what I call the "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" aspect of playing here. It is definitely surrounded by the airport, highway and a railroad and you will hear the ambient noise. Prices are very good for the caliber of course. Enjoy!

This course has a great layout. I first played there in 2001. It has held its beauty and "shape" since then. If you go to GRapids, you should play here. A great place with GPS on the carts. The price is also right.

This course is a great find in Grand Rapids. It is not easy, especially from the tips, but it is fair and not tricked up. It makes you think about club selection and rewards good shots. It is also a pretty course with nice views of the river. The airport is nearby, it is near the highway (I96) and there are train tracks but none of that was an issue. It actually added to the charm. I will definitely return!

This place is so well designed and maintained. It's a great place for charity and social events.. There's a outside deck for the 19th hole. It is unique in its design between a highway and train track and the airport is very near

Thornapple Pointe is a beautiful golf course. We were there in the fall as the leaves were beginning to turn and the views were stunning. The holes are challenging but playable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It's definitely a course we'd like to play again.

This is one of the better courses in Grand Rapids. Beautiful clubhouse, expansive greens, rolling terrain, challenging but not ridiculous course difficulty, GPS in golf carts. The only negatives to this course is that its a bit pricey, and seems to packed with leagues on weekdays.

Overall this course is pretty nice, except for the plains, trains, boats, cars that you can hear occasionally. Another nice but bad feature is the carts that tell you exact yardage to bunkers , front / back of green, etc.. The bad part is that the dang carts make you stay on the path most of the time because it senses when you don't, ,which leads to an annoying reverse to get back to the good area for driving.

You see and hear a lot of traffic while playing this course. It is a very nice course, I have played it 3 times and enjoyed it each time.

I have always found this course to be in great shape with perfect greens. It also has always played at a reasonable pace which means that it is well run and controlled. I love having the planes flying overhead as they approach for a landing or are taking off from GRR. It can be a little expensive for us but is worth the treat.

This course is hard to find (hidden behind GR airport). It does have great views of the river. However, it is the flight path of the nearby airport. It is next to the expressway and railroad tracks. With so may great choices in GR, why play here? Try LE Kaufman in Wyoming, MI.
