Long trail connects to parks and playgrounds, Nice for a long walk or a short stroll. Extremely picturesque in warm seasons.

This is a nicely refurbished path to walk, ride, run and take pictures on. We found many scenes from nature and critter themselves. It is calming and relaxing.

Visited Riverwalk on a sunny, crisp October morning...walked briskly and was rewarded with a nice view of an eagle in the treetop!

Make time to check out the Riverwalk. It's great alone, or with the family. There are several places to take a side path off the pavement, onto dirt, and nearer the water.

This is a fun walk. Sometimes you meet joggers, parents with strollers and people just strolling. The springtime wildflowers are so beautiful.

Great for biking or walking, lots of scenery to enjoy along your ride. Came in May and the weather was perfect that day, will definitely come back again

Nice, paved trail with many options for loops and walks along the river with overlooks, bridges, and passing through multiple parks.

The Big Rapids Riverwalk is getting better and better. I is very pleasant and relaxing to walk along the river, and over the river. It's nice that it is so close to town and you can walk as far as you'd like.

This is a relaxing and enjoyable place. It's a convenient way to get out and enjoy some fresh air and nice scenery. Whether you want a short stroll or longer walk, a place to run or a place to bike this fills the bill. It connects with Hemlock Park to provide a place to have a picnic and at Hemlock there is Playscape (another great effort by the community) which is a great place for the little ones to play and work off some energy. I often incorporate Riverwalk into my walks and love watching the change of seasons along the river. There are platforms for viewing the river along the way and some of those offer a place to fish for those who might have difficulty getting around.

Walking the Riverwalk is an pleasant experience to just view the Muskegeon River. It is a very quiet an pleasant stroll to break up shopping and driving around. The Playscape is a great place for the children to play on in Hemlock Park and there are plenty of places to sit and watch the children explore the "castle."

Nice walking path in a nice area. Could have had better signs for paths-but a nice walk. Safe place, clean area.

It's a nice short walk beside the river for an evening if you're in the area. There's also a nice park on its way.

This walkway is a pleasant place to stroll beside the Muskegon River. Right beside town, it is close to cafes and stores.

Not only is this a 2 mile hike along the river, but there are fishing piers, playgrounds, volleyball courts, access points to the river, a place to stop for eats and drinks, benches for resting and its all within a few blocks of downtown Big Rapids. Great for families of all sizes and ages. If you catch the right night (Wednesday in the summer) you'll even get a concert at the Band Shell.
