I've been to Cherrk Creek several times and rate it equal to our friends at Penna's on Hayes for excellent banquets and parties. Food is always good and the service and surroundings are excellent.

Very pretty course that is fun for duffers and low-handicappers, as well. Usually has really good rates, too. Try it out. If you aren't pretty good, take some extra balls.

Cherry Creek is a great golf course. I've played there on a couple of occasions, and the course is quite challenging. The marshes and water hazards are placed in places that have you questioning which club to select. Many of the greens aren't visible from the tee box, or are barely visible. The course is well maintained, and the pace of play is regulated by to a certain degree by marshals. The staff is friendly. The course is pretty lengthy, but not beyond reason, but I suggest that it would be to difficult for beginners.It's a terrific course, one of the better ones I've played in recent years. It's challenging, but not maddening. I recommend playing this course if you like golf and you haven't tried it out yet. There are discounts available through golfnow.com

Your first view of the course is the huge, magnificent club house. Driving range and putting green available. Take the time to warm up as your name will be called just prior to your tee time. The course is relatively flat with lots of water and trees. Make sure you know your distances when shooting over water/marsh areas. Always in good condition. A great outing. Check the internet for prices and I think you will find the weekday green fees to be very reasonable.

A challenging, well maintained course. Excellent practice facility. Reasonable green fees. Great clubhouse and banquet rooms. Definitely recommend the lake Perch in the restaurant.

I golfed in a four-some over the week-end. When we arrived there weren't any golf carts available because they had an outing that was going on. We literally had to follow someone out to the parking lot (after waiting at least 15 minutes) to get carts (and clean out their trash). While my husband and the man from our other couple were getting the carts from the parking lot someone from the pro shop is announcing final call for our tee time over the loud speaker! Since there was an outing before us the play was very slow - when we made our tee time they should have stated there was an outing and play may be backed up. When we got to hole #4 (which was not well marked, along with some other holes - they defiantly need better signage) there were four players on the green, four players in the fairway, and a three-some waiting to tee off (the four-some behind us shortly arrived). Another complaint - they have cards explaining the holes on the carts, but both carts in our four-some had several pages missing.

This is a very challenging course. On some holes, you need to clear a hazard and keep the ball from traveling to the next hazard. One hole you needed to string 3 shots back to back like this. Also, the holes were very tight so any fade or draw put you out of play and usually a lost ball.It is one of the better courses in the metro area. I did not like....well, it did not like me. Lost a lot of balls and I don't drive the ball far off the tee so clearing hazards is not in my ability. Ugh, brutal round of golf. Still it is a very good course.
