The Vietnam Veterans Memorial of Ypsilanti, Michigan is a shrine etched on a brown triangular marble plaque with the names of all the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti War Veterans that had served in the Vietnam War, between 1957-1975. Several areas are left for visitors to lay solemn wreaths in memory of dearly departed loved ones that had served with Dignity, Honor and Great Valor! A digital camera, or a Polaroid Instamatic Camera is highly recommended, in order to enhance the clarity of the image! Please be sure to allow one hour for traffic, especially during the afternoon rush period, if coming from Ann Arbor to Ypsilanti and allow 15 minutes, to come from the Ypsilanti District Library to The Ypsilanti Township Hall. This Magnificent Memorial is right in front of The Ypsilanti Township Hall.
