9-11-2001 remembrance memorial

This memorial is just breath taking! When you ride/walk/drive by and take a look at this piece of metal, it's almost as if your Spirit is being tugged at for you to take a moment and just reflect! May God continue to Bless America and all of the families that were touched by lives lost and forever changed in this tragedy!

The memorial was awesome. The sound of the water was soothing. The area was refreshing, nice grass growing, flowers were planted, lots of benches to sit on. I would definitely suggest you see the museum first to bring you back to the day. Seeing it all I can't even imagine what happened that day in this city.

If you view this remnant of the World Trade Center from the streetside toward the river (see photo) it almost looks like a figure in a robe with a cane (or like Obi Wan "Ben" Kenobi from Star Wars, when Darth Vader struck him down). That's my interpretation anyway.
