Love this church. Took my friends to see the church and they were speechless. Awestruck. I am sure they will go back and take their families.

Large beautiful church. The stained glass told a story. Probably a good idea to have a guide with you to learn about the history of the church. Really enjoyed.

For well over 150 years the "Franken" churches have been bringing Christ to the people. St. Lorenz is the largest of the Franken churches and offers a thriving elementary school education. It is a wonderful paradox to experience the historic architecture and liturgy with contemporary screens.

The stained glass windows, the Painted dome above the alter, the massive pipe organ, the long, long aisle and the very size of the building itself, combined to make me feel like I was at a Royal wedding. Such a beautiful and amazing work of architecture, I sensed the love and dedication that went into the building of this masterpiece. I can only imagine what it must feel like to sit in the church pews on a Sunday morning and sing hymns of praise and listen to the minister preach the gospel. definitely worth the trip to the west side of Frankenmuth to see.

I love this church's beauty and far-reaching symbolisms. Inside, I felt the presence of God and the angels as I gazed upon the altar. Outside, the church steeple seems to soar toward the heavens. The nearby cemetery tombstones read like a who's who of St Lorenz's faithful past. St. Lorenz captures the beauty of faith, and the symbols of Gods everlasting presence.

Absolutely beautiful! Learned history of expansion of church. Stained glass walls tell a story and ceiling art is incredible. A must see!

We visited the church on a Friday afternoon with a former member. They have a nice brochure that explains what is where and when it was constructed. The Chancel area is absolutely beautiful and the church nave is huge. Enjoyed walking through it.

We've attended St. Lorenz as guests, numerous times, and the experiences never fail to provide nourishment for hungry souls. Of prime importance, is the spiritual message received in God's Word, as well as participation in the Sacrament of Holy Communion. Music is exceptional, from the fine organ (as well as the musicians who play it), to other musical offerings. This was the first worship experience I've had where a French Horn solo was able to touch my heart, and move me to tears, because of its devout beauty! Tourists are invited to take a tour of the beautiful, historical facility, an icon in the German community.

I was totally amazed by the beauty of the St Lorenz Lutheran Church. I could has sat all day and gazed at the glass windows. When I visited the church, the sun was shinning and the windows were so bright with the colored of the stain glass. We had a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the church and the story behind the windows.

This church is gorgeous! Make sure to get a brochure at the side driveway entrance and go on a self-guided tour of the stained-glass windows. If you're able to attend a service, all the better! The pipe organ is lovely!

The hand carved altar was magnificent, and the stained glass windows were quite special as well. It was worth the stop, and our guide did an excellent job answering questions from an inquisitive group.
