I visited NTS with my son, daughter-in-law and 9 year old granddaughter. I chose this knowing my granddaughter loves animals and paid for her to do the 'you feed' tour. Abbie, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered our questions. To learn that there are places that abuse animals that are legal, is appalling! This place does wonderful work and I know the money we paid is going to a good cause. If you think $60 is a bit steep, this includes a t-shirt, calendar, and a 8x10 color photo of their favorite big cat. We got there a couple of minutes after the tour started, but they let us catch up to the group. I would highly recommend this for anyone who loves animals. The tour length is spelled out on their brochure, so there should be no question of what each one includes. Next time we go, we want to do a half or whole day tour. Thanks to everyone there for making this a great experience!

Just off the beaten path, this small Tiger Sanctuary is nestled in the hills of the Ozark Mountains near Branson, Missouri. It houses many tigers, as well as several other animals. We took our family and enjoyed a wonderfully educational afternoon at the sanctuary. A few minor improvements could be made to make the experience more enjoyable. But we highly recommend a visit to support this wonderful organization. Don't forget your camera!

We had a great time doing this! I love tigers and this was one of my valentines day gifts. The tigers are very social which was great. I paid a little extra so my son could feed the tigers. Granted all he did was push the food to them (which is way safer) it still was thrilling for him. All of the staff was super nice and very knowledgeable about the tigers and their history. We are planning on doing the jeep tour next time. It was a beautiful tour. Just a word of caution be careful sometimes they spray! You will hear about it in the tour. My husband got sprayed hilarious. Worth the time and travel.

Very interesting and informative tour. The tour guide gave lots of history of the animals as well as the species in general. The animals all looked very healthy and had lots of room to run around.

We went with a group of thirty people of mixed ages. It was an educational experience. They rescue and provide a home for unwanted large cats. (Tigers, lions, puma) The main theme of the video and tour was animal conservation, and animal rescue. You are about three feet away from the animals. In zoos you are much further away so this was nice to be so close. They seem to be ethical and humane in the animal care. The animals on display are rotated and you will not see all of them. This is to lesson stress on the animals. It was about 50 degrees out, early March. The cats were active and engaging. We were told in the summer they are not as active. One of them has a cat walk and went over our heads. The lion was excited to see our guide and ran to her and wanted affection. Abby was our guide and she was well informed and good with the kids. The lobby had a gift shop, snacks and clean restrooms. We saw several picnic type areas. They also rescue stray cats and great white Pyrenees. Warning, if muddy wear boots. We went in early March while there was still some snow. The ground was soggy. We all were wearing boots and ended up in mud up to two inches. The parking lot and walkways were muddy puddles. I really don't know how the lady in an electric scooter managed.

Very interesting, never thought about big cats having personalities. Our guide did a great job teaching us about the big cats.

We took the awareness tour at noon and it was very informative and interesting. Our tour guide was great. We saw at least a dozen big cats and they let us take as many pictures as we wanted. We even got some good video of a tiger playing in his bath! Perhaps the feeding tour would be worth the extra money if you are an enthusiast, or during the summer when I guess the cats might be less active. The feeding tour followed behind us and they had meat for each animal as they went along. For us, the awareness tour was just perfect and I didn't feel I missed out on much. This is a great facility and I would love to come back and visit again. Make sure to check the timings online or by phone before visiting.

The cats and the staff were awesome. What a great opportunity to learn about these cats, hear their stories, and help tale care of them. We even had one of us feed the big cats on the tour!

This was our second trip here. My wife and I had such a great experience last year that I had to return this year. All I can say about the Tiger Sanctuary that has not already been said is; "GO and Enjoy!" "It's GRR-REAT!!!!" We will be returning.

My husband and I went here on a crisp morning and all the tigers and lions and leopards were up, around, and active! It's so neat to stand so close to them. The Sanctuary offers different tours at different prices, which is nice! Our guide was so friendly. My husband and I were the only two in the tour so it was fun being conversational with her. I will definitely be visiting these sweet cats again!

Took a trip to the National Tiger Sanctuary and learned so much. It was really cool to be so close to these beautiful creatures & hear their stories. Loved to know such personal details about how the tigers were acquired. Felt a connection to each of them. The guide was very informative & answered all of our questions. It's a little pricey, but I know the money is going to help feed & support the tigers. My kids (10 & 13) were mesmerized. The animals are loved & well cared for. I would recommend to all animal lovers.

We really enjoyed this. You are three feet away from these magnificent animals. If you can go on the tour where they feed the tigers.

Made my daughters day. Very interesting and yet somewhat heart breaking. Must see if you are a big cat lover. Paying that extra $10 for the feeding tour is worth it.

The staff is very friendly. This was such a wonderful experience, our family of 3 did the behind the scenes tour and we were all very impressed. The cats seem very happy here. If we ever come back this way we'll definitely be back here. We took as many pictures as we wanted. This is a must do and worth every penny!! Thank you for giving us a wonderful day that we won't soon forget!!
