The equipment is in good condition. Very accommodating. They will even pick you up at your motel (and on time). They are waiting for you at Two Rivers. I have always felt safe with the van drivers. Some outfitters do not want to bother with personal kayaks, but Windy's has no problem with it. Mike has even opened up for us in the off-season. This is a well-run business.

Windy's was a great choice - they are the largest outfitter in Eminence - for a reason. We parked at their store in Eminence, and they drove us to Alley Springs, where we put-in, and they picked us up at Circle B campground. We stopped to eat lunch along the way on a gravel bar and the float took us about three and a half hours. The Jacks Fork is a really nice river to float. We heard from local residents that the Jacks Fork is more for family floats and that the nearby Current River attracts more of a party crowd. I would definitely recommend going with Windy's. Next time we may try floating from Alley Springs to Two Rivers Campground (which I understand is about a seven hour float).

The Staff at Windy's helped us have a very enjoyable trip on the river. I was very impressed with the prices of their tube rental prices when compared to other outfitters. They sell nice items for your trip at low prices just in case you forgot something. I would suggest calling in advance of your trip to reserve whatever type of canoe, kayak, or tube you are renting. We did not call in advance, and they still were able to give us our tubes, but they were close to being out. Our Driver got us to our starting point with no problem. When we finished up, our driver was waiting, and helped us get back to our vehicle. I highly recommend Windy's!

We had a blast floating Jacks Fork with a raft from this place. They let us bring our golden lab and were so friendly and accommodating. The river itself was noisy, lots of people drinking and having fun floating. We were there for fishing, caught 2 small mouth bass and a goggle eye, once we got a few minutes of silence between passers-by ;) after our trip, Windys helped us load our gear into a van and took us right back to our van and helped us unload. We had so much fun and will definitely be back again!!

After reading the great reviews I decided to rent from Windys in Emenense. We were not disappointed. They shuttled to the entry point on the Jacks Ford River and met us at the end loaded us up and drove us back to our car. Very nice people

There will be two reviews in one as reserving with Windy's often means camping at Circle B campgrounds. The two work well together creating a personalized experience. A few TIPS: There are numerous products at Circle B such as cabins, sites with power, campsites without, and perfect places to park RV's. My group stayed at the most inexpensive campsites and "tent" camped. The sites kind of blend together (no defined lines of where one ends and the other begins), but it did come with plenty of places for trash & a picnic table. Since the sites are so near the river they are sandy/rocky so bring a camping pad if you don't have a cot (and a hammer for your tent pegs). The prices in their office are very fair and they offer a good assortment of "odds/ends" you may need, forget, or lose during your float. Also--if you plan to do longer floats (seeing more of the Current and Jacks Fork) remember to rent Canoes/Kayaks instead of rafts. Although raft floating is fun, the available floats are very short due to the slow pace of the rafts. (Again, plan ahead). My group made this mistake and it almost put a damper on the entire weekend but I'm thankful to say Robin saw our concern and somehow made it work that we got canoes at the last minute. I still feel lucky she was able to make this work out for us. (Thank you). My favorite part (and why I would come back) is the personalized service you get to/from the river from Windy’s drivers. Unless you are with a HUGE group you can forget the school bus because they have small passenger vans that come to your camp site at the time you suggest and pick you up! It was as close to "valet/limo" service you can get while dressed half-nude and covered in sun-tan lotion. The drivers even took the time to know our name when they picked us up--nice touch!

We have stayed at Circle B campground for many years now and rented from Windy's canoes and this past June was one of our best experiences! We always float during on weekdays (preferably Monday-Thursday.) The river is more crowded on the weekends. The staff of Windy's was very professional and friendly. We had no problems with pick-up or drop-off. Our stay at Circle B was great. It was very hot and humid but we have an AC for our tiny camper. Our friends rented a cabin and it was very clean with an AC that worked very well. It had: a four burner stove top, a small microwave, a medium size refrigerator, 2 full-size beds, a couch, a table and four chairs, and a full bathroom--all for $85 a night. The only problems were clogged toilets in the campground bathrooms and the cabin bathroom. A plunger was not available until the next morning. I am sure they have a reason for not providing plungers in the bathrooms, but it sure would have come in handy. They have a fully stocked campground store and the campground is family friendly. They do not allow obnoxious behavior.

Best outfitter in Missouri. Good rates and nice people. If you like seclusion and scenic beauty the Jacks Fork and Current River are great locations.

We wanted to canoe Jack's Fork and Windy's made it easy for us. We went the day before to reserve the canoe, did I mention we had never canoed before? The owner was very helpful and aided us in picking the right float trip for our skill level. The next day, the driver picked us up, took us to a beach where they had our canoe, vests, and paddles waiting for us. After short instructions, we were on our way. We didn't tip not once! The scenery is spectacular with beautiful cliffs, spring fed green waters, fish darting around our canoe, and at the right speed. We purchased one day fishing license and I caught a pickerel and a small mouth bass. Good thing we did, the game warden checked us on the river. He was very nice and even gave me some tips on how to catch a small mouth bass. It was a four hour float trip (stopped for a picnic lunch) and Windy's was waiting to pick us up on time. Reasonably priced too! Definitely planning a return trip to canoe the Current River next time!

The process was flawless. The staff was very friendly. They were right there waiting on us when we got back. HIGHLY recommend them. While in Eminence try The Orchard restaurant. Pretty tastey and they have 'adult beverages'

Windy's team is knows the river, they're eager to please, and jump at the chance to please their customers.

I have used this outfitter on several occasions while on the Current and Jack's Fork rivers. I have received excellent service each time. If you have any special requests, they try to accomodate. The pricing is competitive. The equipment is always in good shape.

My husband and kids wanted to go rafting and made a reservation. When they found that the weather might be stormy, they called and were able to change the reservation to another day without any problem (PLEASE NOTE: This was during a SLOWER season, so MAY NOT be available during the BUSY season). They were able to be picked up from our location at the time scheduled, and dropped off promptly. They had a great time!!

Mike the owner will go out of his way to make sure you have a good and safe float. Choose the Jack' Fork and it was just beautiful. They have good canoes and equipment. Have flaoted with them several times and always a pleasure to do business with the family owned company.
