Each presidential library has a good lineage of the events and decisions that were made in their presidency. One can not be over whelmed (regardless of party affiliation) to see the majors decision he made from the dropping of the Atomic Bomb to the Korean War. Though I have visited 6 presidential libraries I have yet to see the breadth and magnitude his discussions have had on our history

I loved this museum. it gave me pleasure t know that Truman would allow comments critical of his presidency to be located here. Interesting to see the office that he worked out of in his later years. Truman is the first president I remember from my lifetime and I remember him traveling through my hometown by train on his return trip to Independence.

Allocate a full day to this museum. It is wonderful! If you are an early baby boomer you will feel like you are in a time warp from the fifties. We only got to see the top floor which is about his presidency. The lower floor is about his personal life and I did not have enough time to see it. Highly recommend this place.

I have visited this museum several times. The exhibits are always changing and it is a very interesting place to spend a few hours. History galore. Truman made some difficult decisions during his presidency. I always enjoy my visits here.
