I'm so glad we set out to drive to this cute little place! I have a friend that loves Mead wine and thought I could get a bottle for him for Christmas. The Martin Family was so friendly and knowledgeable, and seem on the cutting edge of producing Mead wine. All of our samples were delicious, and it's easy to see how they win so many awards! Martin Bros isn't far from The Adam Puchta winery and well worth the 2 miles farther down the road. They offer a Military and First Responder discount as well.

This is a new winery which is a few minutes outside of Hermann, MO. The winery is just starting up. It was recommended to us by the B&B we were staying at in Hermann. They make their mead wine which is from honey. They had a nice assortment of wines that you can try for a $4 tasting fee and you could relax out on picnic tables near the outdoor tasting pavilion. Cheese was also provided with the wine. However, when we were there a storm rolled in and we had to take cover inside. We met the Martin Brothers and they were helpful and knowledgable about their wine. While there they also recommended other wineries that we might want to visit.
