Each winery sets their own policy regarding wine tasting, which is separate from the Hermann Wine Trail ticket. More and more wineries across the country are charging for wine tasting due to the costs associated with running a winery. We appreciate you coming out and supporting our local wineries. Thank you for your review. The Hermann Wine Trail is a group of seven wineries in the Hermann area that promote wine and food events throughout the year. We are glad you enjoyed your visit to our beautiful town of Hermann. We will pass your comments on to the Inn at Hermannhof and the Chamber of Commerce. The trolley runs throughout the week and on weekends, not just on Octoberfest weekends. Hermann also has Rhine Valley Shuttle, which is a service that can shuttle you from place to place.
