After a visit to Civil War Interpretive Center, a visit to the National Cemetery was a perfect fit. It was a surprise to fine a national cemetery in the town of Corinth, MS. We spent about a half hour touring the cemetery by car. The cemetery was beautiful setting with large trees and neatly kept. There was some renovation being done, but it did not cause a problem. We both enjoyed the visit.

The cemetery itself is very beautiful! We couldn't find the office for the cemetery due to the building possibly being under construction, making finding out any details of the cemetery or sections itself, very difficult. Didn't seem like it was in the best of areas, but all in all, the cemetery itself was very nice and well kept!

Great place to see so many veterans. Not just soldiers from the Civil War era. Some are from the Spanish American War, Vietnam War, War World II, etc.

We always enjoy visiting cemeteries, and national ones are particularly interesting due to their high symmetry and uniformity. This cemetery has beautiful trees and a wide range of graves from the Civil War to today (it's still active). Had lots of fun walking around and exploring.

Corinth National Cemetery left me with the same feelings after I visited Arlington National Cemetery. The headstones are all similar and in neat rows. There are many headstones just marked "Unknown. US Soldier". Very sobering.

I visited Corinth National Cemetery to search for black Union soldiers buried there. Thanks to the helpful ranger at the Civil War center knew there were graves here and made it part of my touring day.The cemetery is in a neighborhood, but close to the Civil War center. It's small, but well maintained. While there, two workers greeted me and told me if I need assistance just ask.The cemetery has a large number of Civil War burials, including some Confederate burials. As with many cemeteries with Civil War burials, esp near two major battle sites, there's a large number of unknown burials. Also, there are several graves that are not the standard tombstones which is a first for me.This is a tour stop that would many interest those who are into genealogy or serious focus on Civil War soldiers. Not a stop for the casual and little appeal for most children. I did visit with my nephew who has an interest in black soldiers that were part of the U.S.C.T.

This is an average National Cemetery. In the middle of a residential area. Seemed to be well maintained.
