The welcome center houses a train museum. Everything free and a really good exhibit expecially the old photos and engine. The volunteers can provide everything one needs on a visit to the area from restaurants to motels and attractions. The place to visit first. Right near downtown about 1 mile off the freeway.

Was kind of boring. Hostess was friendly though. We drove 30 miles thinking we could see some trains but did not.

Best for visitors going to the Stennis Space Center. Free shuttle bus to the center. Tour is free and great.
