I was wanting to go fishing while in the Bay St Louis (Mississippi) area but the weather was not the best and some of the captains in the area told me the "bite" was not on and there were no fish to catch. Upon calling Captain Paul he had an entirely different attitude and was willing to find fish and put me on some fish.I learned within 10 minutes that we would get along and he was a true professional to the sport. After getting to one of his spots I landed my first salt water sheep head which seemed like hauling in the front end of a V.W. We left that spot after loading up on sheep head, then off to the next area for some Red, who were less co-operative. I was impressed by Captain Paul's determination that he wanted me to catch one, I always feel that way when I take my grand boys fishing- that you want them to get the bounty!!.Also during this time we had worked into deer hunting stories and more fishing stories. After leaving that area it was time for more sheep head and sea trout. The trip back in was a late one and we were rewarded by a beautiful sunset. Captain Paul made sure he told me his favorite way to cook the fish and was on his way home at dark.I would have no problem recommending Southern Comfort Charters to anyone and I will be back to fish with my friend Captain Paul. And I did invite him out on a trip to Lake Michigan to tackle our Michigan Salmon.Jim

Had a great experience, everyone knows that the fish bite better some days than others, even though they were slow on our day Captain Paul put us on all the fish that he could, and we left with a nice mess of fish to enjoy at home. Very knowledgeable and helpful in all areas of the trip, coordinating the day and times, what we needed to bring, and showing us the techniques needed to catch the fish.
