This was a great place to start, purchase venue tickets, and hands on displays for the kiddos! Free coffee and friendly staff.

Beautiful facility with lots of parking. We were interested in seeing information on the area and the Natchez Trace. Got a lot of information on expensive tours. Then we found the park service .

Beautiful facility with exhibits, gift stores, and a documentary movie for a nominal fee. We didn't have time for the movie, however we took advantage of the helpful ladies at the information desk. We also were able to purchase our discounted 3-house tour tickets here. We were given excellent advice on which homes to tour based on our interests (our personal favorite being The Towers if you love rare/beautiful antiques). Every time we get to Natchez, the Visitiors Center is our first stop! It also has the National Park Sevice office for those interested in maps, info, etc, for the Natchez Trace Parkway and some homes.

This is one of the nicest visitor centers I've ever been to. We spent about an hour wandering around and learning about Natchez...very informative. The people there are also very nice and friendly.

When visiting a new city and limited on time it is best to check out their visitors center. This modern and beautiful center has displays, exhibits, walls of brochures, a gift shop, and staff who are ready to make your stay in Natchez a memorable one.

It was a fairly short walk for us to the visitor center from our B&B (Oak HIll Inn). The visitor center had renovations going on the day we stopped in. But still, after a quick jog across Canal street so as not to get run over, not too difficult to get to.We could buy a three mansion set of tour tickets at a discount here and they had a nice table mounted topo map of Natchez with light-up push buttons designed to help plot your way around the town. The people working her were also very friendly and helpful

Good information but didn't feel they were as helpful as they could have been. A 20 minute movie was informative but was surprised at a $2.00 charge. In other cities the visitor center could make arrangements for tours but here they told you where you can arrange for the different tours.

Interesting building design. Shopping for souveniers and brochures on the area. Great view of the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is a relatively big place for a relatively small town but it's well laid out, very informative, a couple of good shops and well worth the visit.

We learned so much at this visitors' center that I can't imagine not making this your first stop in Natchez. They do charge for the film---- we saw it, but you can get as much information by simply reading all of the displays. This is also the place to buy your tickets to tour the antebellum mansions of Natchez. They are normally 12$ each but you can get three tickets for 30$ at the center. The African American history display was very well done.

We stopped in here to get info about the Plantations Tour and found the staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. The exhibits looked great but we didn't have time to see all - hope to be back in Natchez again, and I'll make sure I have more time at this visitor center.

The visitor center is simple but has some nice features. My favorite was the interactive map when you enter. You can light up various attractions in the town and see where they are in relation to each other. They also have an interesting time line showing the historic milestones effecting the town.It is worth a stop.

One stop shop for all tourist information. Very helpful staff that went out of their way to provide assistance! Exhibits were interesting but a bit wordy! Did not have the patience to stand and read all of the text. Definitely need to condense the information. The visitor center also contains an excellent bookstore that carries a plethora of area history books. Restrooms definitely needed attention!

This is where one goes to buy the tickets for the antebellum homes. Be sure to ask about buying 3 tickets for a discount. There is a great overview of the history of the area, a gift shop and a short video about Natchez. Must stop!

A great place to stop and learn about the area. However, you have to pay to see the short film about the history of the city. That is not a way to market your area. Plenty of information with books and pamphlets and real people to answer questions.
