this is A very good example of guilford residential history from over 300 years ago. The building has been exceptionally well maintained and restored to reflect complete accuracy for the time period during which it was constructed.for those interested in early American Revolutionary War history the trip here will be well worth the effort.furthermore its location within a little more then one block from the historic guilford green allows it to be part of a larger adventure when properly planned.

This 17th century home has a long history. A docent in period dress leads the tour through the house sharing the history of the family who lived there. The house is furnished with period antiques, some belonging to the original owners. The house has some unique architectural features. I enjoyed seeing this house but was a bit disappointed that it was advertised as "living history" which it is not.
