The comedians were pretty bad, and although the food and drinks were pricey, they tasted great. I'd still go back again to give the entertainment another try.

Our group of eight were seated at a table that should have been for four or six. So yes, the other reviewers are correct: you are packed in like sardines. BUT, that's where my complaining ends. The three comedians were very good, one was even better than very good. The service was good. Our waitress showed up often and our drinks came out as ordered. The show started on time. We ordered no food, so can't comment on that but for the price paid - it was a great time.

The food is average, but the entertainment is great. The seating is a little to close but regardless we've come back several times a year. We enjoy the comedy and meeting the other patrons that are seated at our table.

Is it worth coming here to see top notch comics perform? Absolutely. Is it a comfortable environment? Not at all. This place is extremely cramped. But my absolute biggest gripe is the god awful food. I ordered a $16 entree and was served what looked like a frozen Lean Cuisine dumped onto a plate. Two hours later I felt some of the worst stomach and bladder pains of my life, followed by a 90 minute session on the toilet. Without being too gross, let's just say that what came out of me was clearly what I had eaten just a couple hours before. The pain and discomfort persisted well into the next day. If you want to see a comedy show here, be sure to eat beforehand.

Do not waste your time going to Funny Bone Manchester, customer service is VERY lacking-food is awful mostly microwaved-manager will not even come out to speak with customers having issues with cold/bad food never shows her face to apologize as a manager should. This location is absolutely AWFUL hopefully other locations are better, if not then why bother? As a chain I would think corporate office would check in every so often at their locations to be sure everything is running as it should unless they don't have standards either!!!! If you want to see a show go somewhere else where paying customers actually mean something

We went here for a birthday celebration with a group of friends on March 1, 2014. We were attending the 10pm late show to see the comedian Brad Williams. We had a good time until the last 15 minutes of the show when we received our bill for drinks. Turns out we were charged an extra $4 per drink for "top shelf liquor" on each drink when that was not what we ordered. We ordered regular drinks in souvenir glasses. Our entire 9 person party was overcharged on the drinks we ordered. The server, who was a young kid, got argumentative and extremely rude with us over it so we demanded to speak with management. We were then told by the manager that because we consumed it we had to pay for it even though it was not what we ordered. The bill confusion and argument with us over this error ruined the ending of the show for us and upset our birthday celebration. Then we were held up for an additional 45 minutes after the show trying to settle this only to be basically told "screw you" and given a lousy $2 discount per drink. Considering they made several hundred off of our table without having to overcharge us, this was a huge slap in the face. This incident destroyed what should have been a fun evening out. I will never ever return there again. For future comedy shows I will stick to Mohegan Sun.

The comics are always great. The food is good. It is crowded seating and if you go as a couple you have to sit with strangers which I personally don't care for so I go with another couple or I don't go because of this but other than that it's a great night out.

This place is a comedy club and if you are looking to laugh then its worth a visit. The seating is cramped and I do not suggest sitting in the front if you are bashful. Normally about 4 or 5 comedians. With an MC. Some of the warm up guys can be a little lame - with sex and drug references that try to shock a laugh out of you. However the headliner has always made the visit worth it. I get the feeling they pay well for the main guy and have seen acts from all over the country. If you are there for fun, the ordinary food and drink can be ignored. Ticket prices are reasonable and if you sign up you get lots of freebies.

Many laughs. Lousy food & seating arrangements. Comedians were very funny. We went here with 2 other couples. We were seated at a table that had 8 chairs, but was barely big enough for 6. We moved 2 chairs away to give us more room. After we ordered food & drinks with our friendly waitress, the "hostess" came along and moved the 2 chairs back to our table (while making a nasty remark) and told us, in a gruff manner, we had to squeeze together because 8 people had to sit there. Even though other people were not seated with us, we were packed in like sardines. Our food took a long time to come, was cold, and was not good. Do not eat here. P.S. . 15% gratuity is added to ALL checks.

Good entertainers, small enough for all seats to be good, don't have to travel far to see a good show.

I love this place. They have 3 comedians....a warm up skit, this comedian is new to the scene and trying to get his name out there. The middle skit is someone who is a little more recognizable and he really gets the crowd going for the headliner. And then there is the headliner, many times that person has been on comedy central or on some of the late night talk show's. I go quite often and have never seen a lame show. Some will sell their DVD's or CD's or t-shirts at the end of the show for 10-20.00. They have appetizers and a small selection of dinners. They also have a full bar. The waitstaff is very friendly and attentive. To make it fair for their waitstaff they add their tip to your bill. However if you think they deserve more, leave them a little extra, they work very hard. This is a great night out. If you fill the FB card and give your email address they will send you promo's (which are very generous). Many times I have gotten 4-8 free tickets (they only ask that you buy at least an appetizer and have 2 drinks, and they don't have to be an alcoholic drink, can be soda/ice tea. Now for 8.00 you can get a suv. glass and they will fill it (unlimited) with soda/ice tea. Great value. If you don't want to eat dinner here, walk the hallways and go to Bertucci's or Ruby Tuesday. Seating is first come first serve, so get there early...6pm doors open, order a drink, and a snack or dinner, show starts at 7:30pm.

I've been to the Funny Bone several times now with various friends and family. They sometimes have well known (famous) comedians as well as the up and coming ones that haven't made a name for themselves yet. I've seen great shows there and not so great shows. If it's an unknown comedian it's pot lucky as to if you are going to like that one or not...but that's reasonable. And if you sign up for their website notices you will be sent lots of offers for free tickets. I've used the free tickets a few times and it's a great way to see an unknown comic without endangering your hard earned dough. The food there has always been good although it is pretty much just pub food....not a ton of variety but certainly good enough. The food and the drinks are on the pricey side. If you get in for free you are still doing ok for an evening out. The room is small and they do pack you in like 'sardines', but I've found that as the evening goes forward that doesn't seem to really matter. You have room to eat and you have the option to make friends with new people at your table. it's not that bad. I think the only improvement they could make would be to have a larger venue and lower the food prices a bit. But overall I'm pretty satisfied to have a comedy club available and one that sends out free tickets ain't all bad!
