What a different experience, everyone should see at least once. It is at CCSU, and is a great time to learn about the galaxies for children and adults alike.

I have been to it a few times in the last few years. It is a poorly funded department with little ability to make improvements or enhancements to its facilities or equipment. But don't get me wrong. If you have children or a youth group (ages 8 to 15 or so) and want to expose them to astronomy or just enjoy it yourself, it is worth the trip. Two or three Saturday nights each month, a professor, students and interns get together to learn about our universe, repair equipment, learn how to operate the space projector and then put on a planetarium show. If it is a clear night, you then go to the roof to observe the stars and planets using a variety of telescopes.Free parking, free admission, a little education and fun, makes it a wonderful night out for the family.
