I was a parent chaperone for my sons first grade school trip. It was a very fun and informative visit. We learned many different things about farm life from the mid 1800's to current. The topics range from types of vegetables and tools, to how to make and prepare household stables like butter and cream. There was a horse and cart ride as well. This is a fun place to spend a short visit.

The museum has a wonderful display of country and farming artifacts. Has many educational experiences for all ages. They even have wagon rides drawn by horses that show the farm and property on top of Blue hill Rd in Franklin, Ct. a must see view . A very enjoyable experience.
