one of the most beautiful unusual churches in Fairfield County. Watch for their spectacular musical programs, especially during the holidays. They are trying to become a Historic Landmark- hope that happens!

This not only a beautiful church, but also most welcoming. The minister, music and the camaraderie are commendable.

We decided to visit this church during their Sunday morning service. The inside of the church is absolutely incredible: the stained glass windows are absolutely beautiful. The church is shaped like a fish and you felt like you were in the belly of a whale. The service was so uplifting and the sermon was wonderful (it was after Robin Williams death and talked about why bad things happen). The music from the organ and the acoustics in the church are amazing !!!. Everyone was very friendly and invited us for fellowship after the service. If you have the chance, visit this church not just for the beauty of the church but for the beauty of the people.

We were very lucky that we timed our visit to the church when we did. The organist, James Wetherald was practising pieces on the organ. When we walked in and saw the huge and stunning glass windows together with the sound of the organ, it was a bit overwhelming, to the point that I'll never forget it. To top it off, James gave us a little history lesson on this very unusual and architecturally significant church. Not to be missed!

There are special concerts during the year that feature the wonderful organ. Also a wonderful holiday concert.

Whilst taking an art history class many years ago in college, my professor displayed a slide of this church, and I exclaimed out loud: "It's the fish church!"If you're in Stamford, it's worth stopping by to take in this architectural gem.

When I came to Stamford 35 years ago, the First Presbyterian Church as the architectural gem of Stamford. Thirty-Five years later, despite the many new buildings in the city, it is still the signature architectural gem.
