Very friendly family winery...The wine is nice. I invited some people to join me-it was their first visit. It was enjoyed by each of us. Will be back again

When Paradise first opened it was quiet and not too many people. When I went Friday night there were a lot of people enjoying the wine. I LOVE when Joe does the tasting he enjoys explaining the history of the wine and the area. There were two wines that I enjoyed the other night. Sometimes the wine sells out and you have to wait until the new wines are made.

This winery is smaller than its counterpart up the street and does not provide the views that Gouevia has. I do agree with the most of the reviews that the wine is better and this winery, being smaller, provides a more intimate setting with less crowds. It's a nice place to bring some snacks, buy a bottle of wine and enjoy the outdoors.

Based upon how beautiful the view from the winery is, my thought was that the wine would be just as good if not better. I was a little disappointed with most of the wines from the wine tasting I attended. All the wines I tasted had a certain after bite to the point where one of the owners smelt one of the bottles and asked if he gave us the right wine. The owner was extremely knowledgeable about his wine, but talks very little. The view from the winery is gorgeous. A small private event would be elegant there.

This is a great home town winery along the CT Wine Trail. Family owned and operated... Great wine, great atmosphere. Check it out. They are dog friendly, serve great local wine and have great entertainment

Paradise Hills is one of my favorite local vineyards in CT. There is music on many evenings and the outdoor seating area is lovely. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Bring snacks because they do not serve anything but wine. Although the view is not as breathtaking as the vineyard up the street the wine is far better.

We found this vineyard to have much better wine and a nice, quiet atmosphere compared to Gouevia Vineyards. Gouevia has great views, but the atmosphere was much more relaxed and laid back at Paradise Hills. The staff were very friendly and the wine was great! We spent about 4 hours sitting out at their patio tables, enjoying the wine weather and a picnic lunch.

We visited this very quaint family runned vineyard last weekend, and were very pleasently surprised! The staff, who are 100% family, were curtious and very well informed. After a very nice tasting, we enjoyed the jazz band as we sat & had our appetizers with friends!!! will definately revisit!!!!

We visited this small winery on a drizzly day last week. Even though we had turned up unannounced - we failed to read the "by appointment note on the website", the two young men who are a part of the family owned business, couldn't have been more gracious. They were not set up for a formal tasting but they did have a couple of wines to sample. We bought a bottle to drink with the lunch we had packed. Also brought a few bottles home for enjoyment later. The wines were good, the ambiance welcoming and the view of the vineyards perfect - just outside the window. They apparently have music concerts on Fridays and throughout the summer. Lovely spot to sit for a while and savour a glass or two of wine. The winery is on the Connecticut Winery Tour and is open Thursday to Sunday and well worth the visit. Check them out.

Paradise Hills Vineyard is a great place to have some wine and meet up with friends. It is a small, quaint vineyard and the people are hospitable. In the summers, either on a Friday or Saturday evening, they have local bands come in. Weather permitting they play outside with a backdrop of the beautiful vineyard. When you go, be sure to try the Presidential" wine. It's the best!

Paradise Hills is a wonderful vineyard. Whether you live locally or are visiting the Wallingford area it's a must do. They have a great selection of wine that is reasonably priced. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Both the inside and outside have ample seating and there is always great atmosphere. Definitely one of my wife and I's favorite wineries.

We were the only customers. We did a wine tasting and it was very good. We sat by the REAL fire in the wood stove in comfortable chairs. The best part was that the owner got himself a glass of wine and joined us in front of the fire for a chat. What a wonderful way to pass a winter afternoon. I would love to go back in the summer.

This place is a bit off the beaten path. Great location. Young, and that's part of the charm. Feels like family. Wine is very good. Service is great. One time we we there and the register wasn't working right and the owners said have a glass of wine on us while we get this fixed. That is service. Bring your own food, friends, etc. Atmosphere is just homey. Entertainment on weekends. Bar is hand hammered copper, just beautiful. This is a place you just want to make regular trips to.

We visited Paradise this past Saturday afternoon and drove up to this winery after stopping at the market nearby. Armed with cheese, crackers, carrots and hummus, we camped outside for a few hours after our tasting enjoying our bottle of red. The tasting was nice - $9 for 6 different wines - all pretty good, none offensive. Driving up we were surprised to pass through a very residential street and enter through a dead end driveway. Having grown up in suburban NJ, I felt like I could've been in a neighbor's backyard. We had stopped at Gouveia Winery first, but didn't stay because it was too crowded. This winery didn't have Gouveia's views, but it was much less crowded and had a nice, inviting space. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit - the wine was good and we had a great time sitting outside and catching up! You can order restaurant food to the winery, but I recommend stopping at the store and/or bringing your own snacks. One last point, having seen both wineries, it may be easier to seat a large group at Gouveia because they have large picnic tables and most of Paradise's tables were smaller round ones.
