Loved it all. We listened to several different selections from Gershwin, Brahms and Beethoven. Pippin was the play, I was enthralled with the talent and amazed that these kids are of high school age.

Choate Rosemary Hall shares their marvelous performance center with the town of Wallingford. There are plays, musicals, concerts, presentations--both professional and student. Wallingford's own orchestra performs there 4 times a year. Excellent entertainment.

I am a choate graduate and have seen many performances at the Paul Mellon Art Center. There are no bad seats. I always enjoy the student productions especially the spring musical. We have also seen many outside performers there. They have had Gaelic Storm several times and that is always an enjoyable show. Being a Wallingford resident, the Art Center is a great asset to our town. If you are in the area--check out the website for a list of upcoming performances.

Got tickets to New York's premiere flamenco group, Noche Flamenca. Last Friday's performance was outstanding! Lead dancer Soledad Barrio has been written up in The New York Times. I didn't have to travel into the city and deal with the hassle of parking to see this world class group. Kudos to the Arts Center's guest artist series. I will come see more shows at this venue.
