Attended Hartford Wolf Pack vs WBS Penguins hockey game. Although the arena is over forty years old, it appears to be in good shape. The concourse is very bright and clean. The food and drink options would suit all tastes and needs.

Don't live in the area so I don't come as often, but it is nice to see the updating. It has to be hard to expand the concourse and it did seem to open it up a little bit. It is still falling behind other downtown arenas but still has some life left in it. For concerts the sound is pretty good and the sight lines aren't too bad.

On Friday, January 30 I went to the XL Center to watch a Hartford Wolf Pack. I had a good time at the event. Game was great. I attend quite a few events at XL and enjoy going. My issue is with the lack of organization getting my tickets from the Will Call box office. This was my first time picking up tickets at Will Call and I found the experience to be challenging. There was a complete lack of organization. They had all three window box offices open but I couldn't figure out where the lines began and where you should go to get in line and not cut someone else off. To the XL Center's credit they did have employees assisting with the confusion, but I think it would have been more helpful if they had the ticket lines sectioned off and clear entry and exit points were labeled. They have this set-up for their regular box office, makes sense to duplicate for will call. I think I had to wait 30 minutes for my tickets, although it felt longer. I missed the beginning of the game. I wasn't expecting to have to bank extra time on the front end when I pick-up at Will Call. What I thought would be a easy and quick experience was not.I encourage the XL staff to look at ways in which they can streamline the process for Will Call customers. When you get to the arena, you want to see your game, show, etc. and not have to wait in long lines because an organized process was not thought of in advance.

The XL Center is decent, but getting old. The viewing is average for a multi-use facility. The food offering is limited and not particularly special. The staff was friendly & very helpful !!!..The facility is easy to get to off of the Interstates; but parking is limited. There are several, varied type restaurants within walking distance.

For an older building that I spent most of my childhood in for UConn, The Whalers and the Wolfpack, it's looking great with all of the renovations! The friday night deal at the Wolfpack is great! It's also nice to see a good crowd really getting into the game, hope they can keep it up!

The Wolfpack play at the old Veterans arena downtown where the Whalers played years ago. Most of the arena is still old but it was a great time and we all had a blast

Came to watch the Hartford wolfpack and the best day to come is Friday nights hot dogs are $1 and beer $2 'nuff said!

Awful parking situation, too few bathrooms, awful parking situation, uncomfortable floor level seats, awful parking situation, poor acoustics, and awful parking situation. Oh, and did I mention the awful parking situation?

Stadium was great and we had court side seats. Only problem was that there is nothing going on in Hartford and the stadium was not sold out so atmosphere could have been better.

I've been to many concerts here, and they were all amazing! Every seat in here is a great view. The staff is very friendly, and it's very easy to get to.

Went to see a Monster Jam show, staff at center was extremely friendly and helpful with questions. Remember what door you came in cause multiple entrances look the same.Seats were comfy as far as the padding goes but so many seats and not much leg room. 5'8''-6' adults and had 1/2'' of space between knees and front of next seats. Seats are kinda tiny as well so if you got some meat on your bones its kinda tight.

We attended the jeff dunham show on new years eve. Jeff was excellent but the venue was very dissapointing. We purchased seats on the floor to be close to the stage. Bsd idea. They pack in too many seats. You are seated so cramped in tight it was very uncomfortable. The rows are too close together so if anyone comes in late or has to go to the bathroom the entire row has to get up and walk into the aisle. It was very disruptive during the show. You also have to climb down then back up very steep stairs to exit. And if you have to use the ladies room be prepared for a very long wait. We would never go to an event here again.

Great place for watching basketball or hockey games. Lots of food options. Be aware of steep stairs in the lower sections.

We went to the Rhianna concert - my girls needed to use the bathroom. The line was sooo long - I went to the people in front and asked if we could just use the bathroom in our room at the Hilton - showed them our room key - they wouldn't let us leave and come back in !!! WHY can't we use our own bathroom during intermission - Really?

I saw Rihanna' s Diamond tour here and liked the arena. Security wasn't overbearing,they actually allowed you to enjoy the show.
