My husband and I own a Bed & Breakfast in Weyers Cave, Va. We are always looking for activities for "package plan" offers for our guests. Bryce Resort Zipline Adventure caught our eye. It has so much to offer the "adventurous" guests that our more "local" resort does not. I made a call and set up a tour to check things out before promoting. It was quite a pleasant trip! The resort has so much to offer and my favorite is the "zipline!" Turning 66 this month, my initial thought was that I must be out of my mind. Then I said, what the heck, lets check it out. Watching how it works, I was convinced I would give it a try. Unfortunately, what I was watching was the last run for the season. Now, I'll need to wait until next season. All this is to say, the staff that I did get the opportunity to meet were very professional and encouraging. Not sure what happened to the "Rude Staff" author. My only question would be "did you speak to the manager?" Bet'cha you may have a different opinion, not to mention a compensation for your experience. Hope you would will!

5 female co-workers and I went to Bryce Resorts for a stress free weekend (8/15/14). We work in a high stress profession and looked forward to the weekend for months. However, when we arrived at the tubing/rock wall site at our SCHEDULED time we were told to wait until the "man that made the decisions" got back. We waited, when he returned we asked if we could tub. The were no other visitors there. He said "take a free trip down and see if you like it". 2 out of our group LOVED it and wanted to pay the fee to tub. 2 others opted to just do the rock wall. We were told to find another activity because we could not do either. We asked why - he just smiled and refused to answer. I asked if we were over the weight limit (weights in our group ranged from 115lbs - 200lbs). He refused to answer and gave no other explanation. Other guests arrived, 2 children a woman and 1 large man and all were allowed to tub. Our group was all ladies, all professionals and all polite. We will NEVER recommend this resort and hope this staff person will not be allowed to mistreat other guests without consequece. So sad, such a lovely area but our co-worker retreat will take our business to the other resort which treated us very well in the past.

My 10 year old and I did the zip lines at Bryce Resort yesterday. The staff is great. They are so friendly, answer questions gladly, and really add a lot to the fun. They make sure we know what we're supposed to do, watch carefully and remind us when we need it. I highly recommend this adventure and can't wait to do it again.

The zip line was safe but way fun! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Each segment had a platform with a staff member waiting and a special breaking system so you won't fly into the tree! I'm so glad I went for it!

Had a great time enjoying the views of the zip line down the mountain. The 4 guides we had were excellent and made it a fun and enjoyable time. Forgot their names unfortunately (one just got married and went on a honeymoon to follow widespread panic, one works year round and attends JMU but doesn't actually ski, one was a shorter guy with long hair from Mt. Jackson maybe, and the 4th was a larger guy then the other 3) all did an excellent job and deserve some sort of recognition, if i only knew their names! Anyways it was a lot of fun, felt totally safe the entire time, and would recommend it highly to others. We were the last tour on Sunday May 26th.

We have been to the Bryce zipline many times. The staff is extremely helpful and couldn't be any nicer. They have recently installed some automatic brakes which are quite a jar, I much prefer the manual braking. Lot of fun!

We've enjoyed the Bryce Resort Zipline Adventure several times, since it was first built. They've added more stations, and now with the high speed lift, it's really improved. The guides are helpful and fun and it's a great way to spend a few hours on the mountain. Check out the new mountain bike trails while you're there!

One of the best attractions in VA. Was nervous at first but turned out to be just plain FUN! We come to Bryce Mountain every year and will certainly make the ZIP LINE an annual event.

Great fun! The guides were fantastic. A TON of FUN!!!! Ages above ten would probably be best. Safe, instructions are clear and detailed. The guides will answer any questions. Just sit back and let it rip.

Loved it all!!! They start you off and gradually build up.For those afraid of heights, like me....this is a wonderful idea.

Took the whole family (ages 41,39,13,and 9) for a weekend getaway and Bryce Resort zip lines were the highlight. It takes about 90 minutes (top to bottom) working your way from station to station, and you're entertained the entire time. Great views, lots of adrenaline, and Frank, Ben, Ashley, and Jarad do a great job of making it fun. Very safety conscious. $3 for an e-mailed action photo is hard to pass up, and the quality of all of our pix was great. Well worth the time and money. We'll definitely go back.

My wife is not normally a person who likes to take risk. The zip line looks scary for some, I sure. The first leg of the trip, you could see the fear in my wife's eyes. By the time we got to second leg, she was having a blast. The staff was very professional and safety oriented. I wouldn't mind work all day there myself. My only complaint was it wasn't long enough. With just the two of us going at the time, there was no waiting for others to go. You didn't get as much time to soak it in as a result. It is a little steep in price at $45 a person.

You will love this ZIP! It is great fun for all ages. Kids under 11 may need to be partnered with staff--weight plays a role for the younger crowd.

I have never tried zip-lining before and thoroughly enjoyed it. The course in Bryce is in 10 stages and therefore quite long. The instructors were all very friendly and competent and everyone in my group had a great time. They also take photos of you on in action, which make a great memento of your trip. Highly recommended.

Four of us completed our first time zip line adventure. Ages 53, 16, 14, and 10. Highly recommended. The guides were great. They were attentive, personable and ever entertaining.
