This was my first time actually going to a winery and tasting the wine. The staff was friendly and answered any questions I had. The place was beautiful and the wine was delish. I will definitely be back!

I was here with a group of women, and this was a highlight of our weekend. I'd love to go back. The ambiance in the tasting room and adjacent rooms is really great -- wooden and rustic decor. When we first arrived at the vineyard, our group headed to the counter to do a tasting. The two women who greeted us were really sweet and friendly. I am horrible with names, but one had a small dog and the other was originally from California. They were very patient about the fact that we were a little disorganized and all paying separately. As the women were pouring our wines, a few couples started trickling in. The women were intentional about saying hello to everyone that came in and told them that another tasting would start soon, while still not making us feel rushed at all. The woman with the dog started another tasting and the woman from California stayed with us. She chatted with us about how she came to live in the Luray area, and she spoke very highly about the owner of the vineyard. It says a lot when an employee does that. After the tasting, she gave us tips on how to make mulled wine using the little sachets they sell at the vineyard. We purchased several bottles of their blush wine (I think it was called Fiesta) and a few of the sachets. We stuck around for awhile and split a bottle of wine (I think it was the Blanc) in another room, which was very comfortable. The wine was around $15 for the bottle.Definitely stop in here if you are in the area!

Four of us headed to Shenandoah Vineyards as part of a outdoorsy and autumnal bachelorette weekend. We planned ahead, and the staff at the Vineyard were kind and helpful! We got a tour of the facilities, took a stroll around the vineyard, and had a wine tasting. With lots of outdoor seating, we bought a bottle of their wine and some cheese, and sat out in the sunshine for a couple of hours enjoying it. With a quaint, welcoming feel, the vineyard was a great choice! I would definitely recommend this little gem, super convenient from I-81 after a morning of driving and hiking around Skyline.

My wife and I had first visited this winery about 12 years ago and had always wanted to visited again. On a recent trip to the Shenandoah Valley we made it a must do on our list. We were greeted and made to feel at home right away. When they asked us if we had been there before and told them yes 12 years earlier they were thrilled to have us back. I did the full tasting while my wife did the short one because she only likes semi-sweet and sweet wines. Their Cabernet Savingon is excellent, as it was before, as are all of their reds. I also enjoyed their dry whites. My wife also enjoyed the wines also. What we really liked was the fact that if you buy 6 bottles they waive the tasting fee. It's a shame that more vineyards don't do the same thing because it would encourage more sales. On our trip we visited 5 wineries in the Northern Virginia and Shenandoah area and this was THE BEST ONE, and the most reasonably priced! We will definately make it make back before another 12 year mark. We left happy and with several bottles for home. Thanks Shaenandoah Vineyards.

We came on a weekday when there was no one else around and were given great service and attention. They offer quite a few different selections of wine and 3 different tastings from basic for $5 to a little more for $8 to everything for $10. We really only wanted to try the chardonnay and rosé and they allowed us to do so for free and we ended up buying both, as they were great! The old barn the tasting room is in is gorgeous, with timber framing throughout and nicely decorated too! Two sets of decks to sit on and a really nicely done real grape vine to walk through as you walk up the steps to enter make you feel relaxed and in a great wine venue!

We stopped for the wine tasting. It is a beautiful area, the wine store is surrounded by vineyards and the front deck is covered with grape vines that had grapes on at this time of the year. We enjoyed our wine tasting. You can enjoy a glass or a bottle of wine out on the front deck that overlooks the vineyard. Beautiful and serene setting, nice place to enjoy some wonderful wines. Staff at the winery very friendly and knowledgeable. Great place to stop for the afternoon. The front entrance is up a flight of steps, there is a handicapped entrance around back of the building. This is also nice if you make a large purchase, you do not have to carry all that wine down the steps.

We go to the vineyard once a month or so to pick up our dinner wines. We have shared with many of our friends who all speak highly of the wine. Having traveled many times to the NAPA Valley, the wines are comparable and much less expensive. If you want a very nice wine try the Fiesta. It's really worth the drive! The folks who work there are so nice and very helpful.

We met the owner/founder Rose who served us with beautiful wine in a lovely setting. Spent a really fun afternoon there and although the weather didn't allow us to be outside, it was an excellent way to spend our time.

We've enjoyed the winery mostly because of the friendly server. We liked several if the wines. They always end their tasting with something fun like mulled wine.

The winery has been in the valley a long time and gained a great reputation of a variety of wines to please everyone.

Wines wre just average, service for the tasting felt rushed and not well presented. This could be just the person who served us, however. The grounds are nice; suggest you go around the tasting building and hike back thru the vineyard and enjoy the great view from the top of the hill.

Went for a tasting and tour. The woman was not happy that my husband was not tasting. I like reds and they had only a few. She hurried the tasting. I was not impressed and decided not to buy and she was very annoyed. I was not given a tour. The gift shop was cute-its all in a converted barn but the entrance is not well marked either. Unless you are buying -they hurry you and it was not what I expected

Wow I felt rushed. Even before we were finishing the wine -they were ready to fill it up with the next. I could understand if there were fols behind us but there weren't. I only found one wine I persionally liked one out of their sixteen. Cute gift shop. Friendly staf....just were in a hurry for no apparent reason.

Got the tee shirt and the garden flag. Stopped in with friends and did a tasting of 10 wines. They have several levels of tastings and I believe some include food. We did not take time for the tour. Prices reasonable, wine delicious and staff friendly
