Beware, it is extremely humid in this place. The facility is very small and butterflies are everywhere feeding on laid out fruit. Was not impressed by the selection of butterflies as well.

Attempted to visit this attraction as we did the Natrual Bridge (as we do EVERY year) and not until we had already purchased tickets and walked downstairs did we realize it was CLOSED! The arcade was also CLOSED, along with the Wax Museum! No notice on the website or even when we purchased tickets for you family of 8. Needless to say this was a HUGE disappointment. The kids looked forward to this every year.

The naturla bridge had taken down thier butterfly exibit two years ago after my family reunion, dis apponting about it.

High expectations quickly dashed when we found out the butterfly room, and that is all it was - a room, was in the basement. Painted concrete walls with artificial lightening. VERY few species, VERY few butterflies at all. The ones they had were lethargic or dead. Felt sorry for the poor things, such an unnatural habitat. Save your money.

Not worth the admission. This may be a seasonal exhibit? The room is very small and contained less than a dozen butterflies. Not recommended for small children as you have to be very careful where you walk or you will step on the butterflies.

This was an excellent experience while we were at the Natural Bridge. As a matter of a fact the Natural Bridge experience as a whole was one of the most enjoyable trips locally I have taken. We enjoyed the butterfly gardens, my kids enjoyed themselves, and my husband and I enjoyed watching them in the Butterfly Exhibit.

The Butterfly Exhibit at the Natural Bridge is small and humid, but interesting if you have never had the opportunity to see butterflies in their natural habitat. Several butterflies were flying around and one even landed on my shoe! Watch were you walk! There is no separate fee to see this exhibit.

Having never seen an indoor butterfly garden before, we thought this one to be very nice. It is small, but there were several specimens and many were quite large. You must move carefully because they are everywhere. This was the favorite place at the Natural Bridge for the grand children.

This exhibit was part of the tour of The Natural Bridge of Virginia. I have been to other butterfly exhibits and this one was by far the worst one I had every gone to. First of all, there were very few butterflies. The exhibit was about the size of a standard sized bedroom in an apartment. The attendant working was very nice. The butterflies were very bland looking. I would not go back to this exhibit.

20 t0 40 butterflies in a warm place under soft lighting. Walk carefully else you will step on a butterfly.. so watch your feet. With kids no strollers are allowed.. better hold them for 10 min not more than that. Very small place and so disappointing. Sometimes in your local place you might see better than these.

This is free, so there's no reason not to walk thru it. Children would definitely enjoy it. The butterflies are all around and will sit very still for you to view. I liked that it was small it made them easier to find and see. Some of these exhibits are so large that you can't really get a good look.

The kids liked it. I worry about those poor butterflies sitting all over the path, but as long as you kept a weather eye, you could avoid them. Not a ton of varieties, but just another nice little addition to the place.

We really enjoyed seeing the butterflies. It was nice to take our time and really get up close and personal. Mother nature sure is pretty!!

Walk among the butterflies as they flitter around the room. See the cocoons in their various stages. Beautiful butterflies of different colors and sizes.

The butterfly exhibit was nice there were several species I had never seen before and it was really fun to have the butterflies land or step onto your hands. Watch your step as some will be sitting on the floor.
