this new winery is already attracting a lot of attention from all of our area, the owners are really going all out to make this a destination winery. The new wine tasting room is very nice, large enough for gatherings and tastefully done

This seems to be a working farm and the entertainment of the animals was very fun. They offer a lot of wines during the tasting but they do not have a complete list (they pour twice as many wines as on the list I was given so you don't really know what you are tasting) with descriptions and prices. I do recommend, however.

Spontaneously stopped off here during our Sunday "leaf peeping" drive. Learned that we'd missed out on the grand opening gala the night before. Enjoyed the tasting ($8), which included some excellent wines from other VA wineries as well as the Red & White table wines produced at the vineyard. We look forward to returning and seeing the completed patio/pergola that overlooks the vineyard and buying some bottles of their wine. They said they will also be adding a brewery and distillery in the coming months!

Ok if you miss this place you are missing out. Well worth it prices are great the laid back atmosphere and casual farm life attitude of this winery is amazing. The animals on the farm are perfect for the kids and the grown ups get to taste the wines. Last time we visited they had a band and that was amazing. I'm going back this Saturday Oct 18 for the Harvest event. A must if you are in town.

We have been here several times and enjoy the staff the animals and the property. There are horse donkeys lamas..don't worry they are in a pen. No Dr Doolittle theme here. There are beautiful hens and roosters roaming. Excited about the developing brewery. The building and patio are a bit simple at the moment but they have definite plans for future growth as they develop the property. Its a beautiful peice of real estate in a very historic area. . Weekend nights often have live music. There is no food but you can bring your own picnic, use the lawn and enjoy. Another plus, they are about 5 minutes from my home so on a beautiful Spotsylvania night I can float over and enjoy.

The people here, the atmosphere, the view, this is the place to be many evenings and has become a local spot with an eclectic but laid back group of professionals from the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area!

Great new vineyard currently serving a variety of fabulous Virginia wines. The tasting room succeeds in being large yet intimate. The grounds were stunning. The staff was friendly and east to talk to.This place is definitely worth the stop now but I look forward to the brewery expansion.

Wilderness Run VineyardsOk, Finally we have a vineyard in Fredericksburg VA that has Virginia wines and nice guys that also know there wines... What a place, relaxed and very much a Wine Farm or better yet a winery on a beautiful farm... If you look around you will see Chickens, Horses, Rabbits and many other farm animals... Sometimes the farm life comes in close great for the kids while Mom and Dad share some great wine.

Wow!! Great New Vineyard, Views are amazing overlooking the Horses and all the animals on the farm. Overheard this past weekend that they are also going to be starting to make beers and have a brewery adjacent to the wine tasting room, so something to look forward too!! Nice to see a new vineyard starting off and help them.

Such a beautiful, working farm with a menagerie of interesting and friendly animals. Great views of the gorgeous vineyard from the tasting room.Right now the tasting room is more of a wine bar than a tasting room for their own wines, since they're still developing their own wines. They offer many different VA wines that are wonderful and available for a great price. The staff was very accommodating and great to sit and chat with. They were more than willing to discuss their property, animals and plans.Look forward to watching them grow and visiting them much more in the future!!
