I wish the cooks and waiters at this location could be moved else where. I have never received a bad meal and I usually eat there at least once a month (going on years now). It is a little difficult to get in and out of, the parking lot looks small but don't let that scare you off. Well worth it!!

El Toreo Mexican Restaurant located on the corner of Peters Creek Rd and Lee Highway was our once and sometimes twice a week dine out spot Pre-Kid that is. Now that he's a little more mobile we have started going again on a regular basis. The staff here is by far the best in service and friendliness. Even though our visits have waned, they still treat us like we're “parte de la familia”. I have eaten a number of things on the menu (even though I have a favorite usual) and have NEVER been disappointed. Like most Tex-Mex houses the meal starts with a basket of warm tortilla chips and arguably the best salsa in town. Once your order is placed you better munch those chips quickly, your food will arrive in 10 minutes, no matter the crowd, they are good. We have never had a mistake in our order or sent anything back. As they may say, "es muy delicioso"!
