One of the first parts of the cemetery you see after leaving the subway station before you enter the main entrance. Like so many things here the scale is amazing and it is great work dedicated to great Americans.

My mother was a Navy Petty Officer in World War II, and for many years she would relate to me the second-rate support she got from her male contemporaries throughout her duty. This memorial also reflects the service of the WASPS, or "Women Air Force Service Pilots", around 1100 women contracted into the Army Air Corps to train young combat pilots and ferry aircraft from the US to England. It is a well laid out and comprehensive memorial that informs us of something most of our population knows nothing about.

Was in the area and saw signs for the memorial. Decided to check it out. It's fascinating, it's got lots of displays and information on women who have served in the US military since the Revolution. Right now there's a black and white photo display of women from WWII to the present who have served or are serving. Each picture has a little bio that gives a little background and their view of their experiences in the military. There are some facilitating comments. It was a nice visit. There is no fee, however, there are donations boxes in the bldg. Since it's a non-prof, I'm sure they can use the money.

Great place, right at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery. Glad I stopped by, people were very helpful.

Located near the entrance of Arlington National Cemetery, this is a must see while paying respect to those who gave the last full measure for our country.Women are often overlooked in their contributions to the defense of the nation. Most often, men and their sons come to mind when speaking of military service... not mothers and daughters. The memorial contains personal articles and artifacts donated by women who have and are serving in the armed forces.Educate your self and your family and friends and pay your respects to these bold and brave women who have chosen to defend our country..... you will be amazed at what you will learn.

There are many things to see at Arlington Cemetery and I understand some may not know what is inside this building or that there is an actual "inside"...the design of the memorial may give you the impression that it doesn't contain much...but nothing could be further from the truth. The history of women in the military and their service is rich...you need to visit this memorial to see just how much women have been a part of the U.S. military effort, yesterday and today.

Great memorial for the women in the services. Very thoughtful and humbling place. Gives you a better respect and insight for the mother's, daughters, sisters who fight for our country's.

Museum is dedicated to women who served their country. I entered my Mother's military info into their computer history.

It is a blatant disservice and disrespect that the memorial looks as run down and trashy as it does. Put as much time and love into that memorial as you do to JFK and it would be something worthy of their sacrifice.

Visited one afternoon, fascinating assortment of exhibits, but we were limited somewhat, due to USARMY (guessing..promotion or retirement ) ceremony, area was roped off.

This tribute to Women of all branches of the service is very well done. It seems to give justice to all branches of the service and numerous life saving jobs they all had in peacetime and in war

A good location, easy to get to. I was expecting something bigger and more dramatic. I felt that even though the location was good, when you have the more majestic and powerful Vietnam, Korean, and WW2 memorials the Women's memorial is lacking.

This was more of a surprise at Arlington National Memorial park than I would have thought. It was very artistic and full of pictures and apparel.

I had never seen any images of this Memorial before. I was taken aback by the compassion on the faces of the women, who provided such care for the wounded and dying.
