A friend, who is also a knitter, invited me to accompany her to Comfort to this amazing yarn shop! So glad I agreed to go with her - it is a wonderland of yarns and knitting/crocheting patterns, accessories, and basics. They also carry materials for most any type of needlework.First, the quality of the yarns is superb! And then there is there amazing selection! But the setting is what is magical! The shop is in an old house with wood floors and large rooms totally given over to craft. Oh, and there are several cats that meander around the place - please don't let them go out as you are coming in! (Although, when I was there no one seemed the least interested in going out!) There are chairs and cozy corners where visitors are welcome to sit and knit, either a current project they've brought with them or something new they've just purchased. No rush, no bother, no fuss...just relaxing knitting (or other needlework). Additionally, you can sign up to be on their email list and get notices of classes, etc. when they are being held. It is just a magnificent gem in the middle of Comfort - now where else would find such a relaxing and enjoyable adventure!?!
