This is a travesty! This golf course was at one time s premier layout in top notch shape and s joy to play while being a challenge to any level of golfer. I don't know what has happened but over time, the layout has changed and the maintenance of the entire asset has been completely neglected. If all you want to do is hit the ball and chase it w/o regard for course conditions or putting (greens are in horrible shape), then spend your money. Otherwise, go elsewhere.

Wedgewood Golf Course is a well maintained course; very reasonable in price; however, is not a traditional golf course where you have the front nine holes then the club house then the back nine holes. To me this is cumbersome. I prefer the traditional golf courses.

This is a highly entertaining golf course - in fact the most entertaining we have played in a very long time. None of the holes seemed boring or ordinary. Unfortunately the condition of the course did not match the excellent course layout, and there are really room for big improvements on fairway and green maintenance. Regardless - we will definitely come back and play this course, because this was so much fun. It deserves a 5 star rating, but have to settle for 4 due to lack of care for the course. Go try it for yourself if you get a chance!

This course used to be great, now it is a shell of it's former self. I have been playing this course for about 15 years, not so much anymore. The course is in need of a major overhaul, from top to bottom. they have changed up a lot of the holes, #1 is gone, it looks like a garbage dump now(figuratively speaking), #1 starts on what used to be #2, the 3rd hole used to be a daunting par 5 with the approach over water, now the water is filled in with dirt, and it meh at best. Pricewise the course is ok, but don't expect to be wowed with the course, or the carts.

Needs a good case of facility management. Groundskeeping employees although trying appear having a lack of knowledge of golf coarse upkeep. I'm a member at this location.

It's a very rugged terrain and difficult to play because they don't give you any course maps. The holes are laid out in a confusing way. Most of the holes are so hilly and dog-legged that you can't see where to hit your ball. The course staff are friendly and the facilities are clean. Only go if your looking for a challenge and don't get easily frustrated with the course layout.

Accuracy is the key if you plan to play Wedgewood Golf Course. It is a tight, tree lined course. Every par 4 or par 5, with the exception of #1, presents a hidden green (you can't see the green from the tee box.) The course is in good shape, a big change from 2-3 years ago.

Friendly staff, good rates, lush fairways, hilly, a real challenge to the average hack like me

Played here about two weeks ago. The review had to wait until TA added the course to their database.I guess I am expecting more out of "winter" golf here in TX.Greens weren't up to par though, even for the time of year. But, still a little better than the greens on the course from my previous round. The layout is okay. Some elevation changes and some blind shots. A little local knowledge would be useful here. So, if you aren't with someone that's familiar, make sure you have your GPS.Probably better as the season progresses??? I'd probably play here again. If so, I'll let you know!
