I live in Clyde and every summer bring my granddaughter from Abilene to the water park in Eastland. She's 10 and loves going there. Even my teenage grandchildren enjoyed their afternoon there. It's well worth the drive for an enjoyable afternoon and the admission is very affordable. The life guards are attentive and the pool is kept very clean. I wish Abilene had built one like this instead of a little kiddie splash pool.

It's not Schliterbaun but it's the most fun you can have for $4.00 in Eastland. My kids (ages 5-6) love it. It has a nice shallow kiddy area with slides, waterfalls and a two story big slide for the bigger kids. If you are on a long drive it's a great place to drop in for a few hours and release some kid energy. Check your map, it can be passed up easy, it's past downtown a couple of miles.
