We went there so we could be in court. We had a mock course. I was in the animal control academy at the time. Very nice

The present Lee County Courthouse was built in 1899. Built of red brick and limestone, the building has four corner porches featuring polished Texas granite columns and is topped by a unique clock tower.The outside of the courthouse was restored about 2010 and renovation is continuing inside. Visit the beautiful District Courtroom on the second floor with its high ceiling and semicircular balcony. Some of the seating on the main floor was taken from the old turn-of -the-century town theater after it closed. A Texas Historic Landmark. Open Mon-Fri.
