a preserve city with full of reconstructed buildings. Old charm stays. A must for wine lovers. Plenty shops to wonder around. Good food as well. At least 60-90 minutes required to go through. don't miss the cigar shop.

This was a nice area but would have enjoyed more diversity in shops...only two antique shops and one was closed. Lots of clothing boutiques and wine shops. Very clean area.

Neat places to eat and shop. We especially liked the Olive Oil Store. You could taste all the options of oil and balsamic vinegar. The Holy Grounds Bookstore had free coffee samples. Great way to spend a couple hours.

My family and I frequently meet up to do our own wine walk up and down main street. You can get tasting at the locations for decent prizes. Our two favorite spots being Su Vino and D'Vine. Don't mis many other wineries on and off of Main Street! So fun.

Nice shops, historic venues and decent restaurants. Historic train trip from Grapevine to Fort Worth Stockyard area. The city has preserved as much of the historic locations as possible, while upgrading the city's streets and access ways. The Grapevine yearly wine festival, "GrapeFest", is a great 4-day event with fine Texas, national and international wines to taste and (of course), to purchase. Plenty of music, food and wine provides for an entertaining full day visit. It's a pleasant, friendly place to visit anytime in the middle of a major metroplex, (DFW).

I love this area. When I am in the mood to do some walking I like to visit the Grapevine Historic District. It's a couple of blocks of small businesses and restaurants. I have found the oddest to the coolest things from different boutique shops. It's usually pretty busy on the weekends but I have never had a problem finding parking. It's a great place to do some shopping and grab a bite to eat.

If you have not been to a small town recently where all the downtown stores are occupied and no vacancies, then take time for a visit to Grapevine. The city has done a fantastic job is renovation their downtown area. The only empty stores were in new buildings being constructed at the edge of downtown. There are plenty of restaurants, gift shops, stores and antique malls. We went into many stores and found the most friendly owners or workers we have encountered in a on time. They seemed really appreciative that we had stopped by.We spent all day in this small town. There are soem great restaurants on the mail street.

We visited Grapevine Tx during the holidays. It was very festive. Lots of little shops to do your Christmas shopping. We enjoyed lunch at a little Italian restaurant, can't remember the name, it is right among everything. There are lots of other places to choose from also. This would make a great Girlfriend day out.

Plenty of places to go and lots of great places to eat. Plus during the holidays you can't find a better Christmas feel.

Many small interesting shops and cafe's. Easy to access from major highways. Always something going on.

I love spending time in the Grapevine historic district. There are so many unique stores, great little restaurants and several wineries to try tasting. Check out Farina's, Main Street Bakery and Into the Glass for a bite to eat. Shop at Ooh La La and Grapevine Olive Oil company just to name a few. There are too many little gems to name them all.

It is downtown Grapevine that sold me on moving here 25 years ago from Southern California. Back then it was very quaint and today is has grown into a place to visit that would suit everyone. Wineries, Steam Trains, Festivals, Shopping, Park and of course Christmas is spectacular. The whole city is a great place to visit but the Historic Main Street stole my heart a long time ago.

Visited Beautitudes Tea room, had a relaxing meal in a Cristian environment. Food and dessert were excellent. The new owner is very warm and friendly. Loved this place! Will definitely be going back to take my grandkids to a Tea Party.
