Clint Olms Silversmiths and Todd Winters Art Studio were great finds! We purchased a couple of prints and hope someday to own a custom silver buckle as the craftsmanship is exquisite.

Old Ingram Loop is a quarter-mile bypass from the main highway, TX 39, which is just west of Kerrville. The setting is like a step back in time since the buildings are all vintage and, for the most part, have been restored and repurposed into shops and galleries. It once was a historic stage stop, as is evidence by the historical marker in place. Walking the wood boardwalk takes you easily from one shop to the other, and it's a great place to browse.Shopping is what makes it such a fun place. It's pretty diverse. Currently there are about 18 different shops and galleries. You'll find goods made in Texas, an incredible silversmith, art galleries and studios, a custom made lamp shop, and merchants who sell yard art, decor, and unique furnishings. Some clothing is also available. A new cafe will open soon and currently there is a BBQ wagon which provides some pretty good, lip-smacking sandwiches.Gotta love the merchants. They are all welcoming but don't force themselves on you; you're welcome to browse. The hours vary, but you'll find most open on the weekends. Close by is the Hill Country Arts Foundation and the replicas of Stonehenge, so this combo adds up to a fun afternoon. Try it.

This place is just a short distance out of Kerrville, tx. headed west. Quaint row of shops on both sides of the street. A nice restaurant is opening soon. I can't wait to go, it sounds great, it is suppose to have a bands also. One particular shop is the Corner Stone, which carries Texas made items is really neat. The other stores are just as great. It was so fun popping in and out of the stores.
