Spent the weekend here with some friends that have a boat. The RV site was right on the Brazos river. There is a covered outdoor dining area at each site which was a huge plus in the summer heat. The best part is that you can literally walk out and relax in the river, or put the boat in and run up and down and tube/ski. This part of the river is on the north end of Lake Whitney so, it's just a 20 or so minute boat trip down to the lake. My only complaint is there was no sewer hookup (there was water and electricity), so with 7 people in the RV we had to unhook and go dump at the dump station. We knew this in advance, so it wasn't a surprise, but that's what kept me from giving 5 stars.
