Cute downtown, nice artwork....but not much going on downtown. The area however is beautiful and close to wineries and other Hill Counrty activities.

The sculptures in the median are not only unusual but great, the fire hydrants are even decorated. There are also several shops featuring art and sculpture on Main.

The totally awesome Dream catcher sculpture which won 1st place and is on display in front of the City of Marble Falls city offices on Highway 281makes such a statement and is totally eye catching. I love it! There are also other very interesting sculptures on Main Street. Another in particular is the one in front of the Economic Development Dept. offices. Walk down Main Street and view all of them. I walk there every morning!

I guess since I have been here I don't find it very interesting ... They are neat but a little weird.

Nothing to dislike. Information on sculpture was very interesting. Easily assessable with plenty of parking.

I would make a special stop in Marble Falls for this, but if you are there already, it's worth at least driving through the area. I'm not the biggest art lover, so I wasn't willing to get out of the car and walk around just to see the sculptures, but really you can see them all just by driving down main street. The area is pretty small, and there aren't that many stores. My wife went shopping here while I was doing something else. She said she wasn't impressed by the stores, and didn't seem to enjoy the experience too much.

The sculpture here is not all that good, in fact some of it seems more "crafty" than art. In addition, many of the stores are abandoned. A sadly derelict theater, empty stores, an electronic smoke shop…not my idea of a thriving main street or art district. There were a couple of decor stores, one of which was closed and one which was in utter disarray. There are some restaurants nearby. There are much better art districts in Austin, Boerne, Comfort, San Antonio etc. Don't waste the gasoline if it is art sculpture you want to see.

We enjoyed seeing the sculpture on Main and the shops we visited were great. It was a little cold to do as much shopping as we would have liked but these sculptures were top notch.

This was quite a surprise to see quality sculptures outside many shops. Some are for sale; others are there just for the beauty.

What a classy event for a small community. For the past eight years, Main St. in downtown Marble Fallshas been transformed into a six block outdoor sculpture park. Pieces include stone, metal, bronze, glass, and mosaics. The sculptures are changed out each October and are available for sale, but remain in place until the next October. Additionally, there was a "plein air" outdoor competition (90 minute time frame) for over 25 artists. The most fun way to experience the outdoor art was to join the "Sip and Stroll" featuring Texas wines, gourmet hors d'oeuvres, and great live music. The weather this year was fabulous...clear and cool with the high in the 60's. Everyone appeared to enjoy the sculptures; visiting with the artists and shopping along Main St.

we got to the downtown area, after the shops closed, unfortunately. it is a very picturesque area. the police dept. is right there. they have sculptures scattered down a 1 block area. they are interesting to see. it's worth the visit, but do it when the shops are open. they looked to be full of goodies.

In Main street in downtown Marble Falls there are about 20 sculptures placed in various locations. They are beautiful and create a very artsy environment in this area.

Each fall the exhibits are changed out for new ones so if you haven't been in a while it could be different. Best time to view and take pictures is early morning but the downfall to that time is that none of the stores are open yet. Late afternoon would be the hotter part of the day but many will be shaded by the taller building line alont the west side of Main Street. After that stroll there are several bars open and other places to grab a cold drink.

Easy walk from hotel. Great scuptures.. cool idea for small town. Walking before 9AM was great, but few shops open on Main on Thursday AM.

Super creative artist! This art installation has something for everyone! 20+ really cool and different sculptures! Award winning sculpters from all over Texas... Art changes out every September or October! Visit all the nice shops on historic Main Street at the same time!
