There is a coupon if you login for their website to plan weekdays with a cart for about $21.00 after Noon. Usually can get 18 in on the weekday M-Thr in about 3-31/2 hours. Cheap course for how it plays. Do NOT play hole # 8 unless you have several balls to lose. Quick lunch at the turn at the clubhouse, and zip through the back nine. The back 9 is a little easier. Cut your drive over the fence on 14, and birdie the short par 5 18 to finish up. Then to the putting greens or range to figure our what happened for the rest of your round.

Had my best round ever here last year (not saying much), probably saved by little sand on the course. Hole #8 is a signature hole, a tight par-4, that starts with needing 200 to clear the creek. Too much, and you go sailing onto the other fairway. Not enough, and you're down a ball and a few strokes.A little bit of a drive, as it in the far north west corner of the metroplex, but a fun course. My advice: Setup an afternoon tee time on a Saturday, and get a pre-drink at the Franconia Brewery that is nearby during their tour.

Wonderful greens, hole 8 is to die for as a golfer who wants not only a very challenging hole, but a beautiful one at that. I've played this course 3 times in the past year on my travel through Dallas. Even though this is a muni, it's a very nice golf course and I usually play some of the best courses in the world.

This golf course is owned and run by the city of Mckinney and is well managed and laid back. Tee times are generally easy to get and timely as well as a driving range and putting greens.A restaurant is in the clubhouse for a quick burger or cold drink.Great for groups too.

The facility is perfect for a small party. We had about 40 people and it was the most inexpensive place we found in McKinney. The porch has tables so you can have people inside and out. We brought a small portable sound system so we could make speeches and listen to music. We decorated and everyone who worked there was very helpful and nice. They manned the bar for us too. We did have to bring our own tables to put the food on.

This is a decent 18 hole public course to get your golf fix for the day!

Hole 8 is probably the hardest hole there because there is a huge ditch on the left side of the fairway. It is an easy to moderate golf course and a lot of fun for the price. Hole 9 can be hard if you hit it to far to the left also because it has woods beside the hole.Hope you have fun while you are there. I would recommend this golf course if you don't want to pay much to play a golf course.

Oak Hollow is a fun easy to moderate course. It has a couple of challenging holes with 8 or 9, I don't remember exactly, being the most difficult. The greens have always been consistant and well maintained. I've never had a problem getting a round in on a week day or a weekend. It' s worth the $28 on the week day and $38 on weekend. Call for twilight hours and rates.
