walden racquet club & fitness

The Yacht club has a huge pool & a 1st with 8ft depth. It also has 2 separate areas for toddlers. Food is also not badly priced. Bacon cheese burger w/fries $8.75 & I think bottled waters are .75 or $1. The views are amazing. Overall it is very well maintained & swimming while enjoying the breathtaking views makes it and added bonus. We will definitely come back & recommend everyone to come & enjoy this beautiful place. Added bonus clean pool.

I love living in Walden and having this fitness center available for residents. Wonderful classes are offered.

We had a condo rental in Walden for a week in March of 2013. The local Tennis Center there is first rate and the best we have ever played at. They have about 14 courts or so with 4 of them being covered by a large roof with open sides.If you are staying in Walden the HOA fees there give you access to the tennis center. We were staying in a condo there, so we had free access to the club and gym that is attached to it. I think there is a guest fee if you are not staying in Walden. We did two different drills with Joe Rosa. He really had us moving and worked on specific skills. No Dead-Ball drills here. Some people who run drills just feed balls. Joe took the time to fix things that he noticed we could be doing better. The drills were $10 per person and worth every penny.There was a mixed doubles social one night that week that was really fun. They provided drinks for after and got the matches kicked off. I think it was $5 per person.Every Saturday and Sunday people just show up in the morning and play. They play a set and rotate around with the other courts when one finishes up. The real stars of the tennis center are the local players. We went to drop in on the first Sunday there and by the end of the week we felt like we knew everyone. It was like we'd lived there for years. Very friendly, welcoming group of great players. We got invited to go out on boats and to parties. This may be the friendliest place in the world.
