Friendly service. Clean bathrooms. Outside patio in front and larger patio in back. Music was decent enough for a classic rock fan. Cab fare from Clarion Hotel was $4.50.Would like to come back on the weekend and check out the live music. It's a basic Texas Bar housed in an old historic building...if you want fancy, go find a country club or better yet, go to Blaine's and order Dom Perignon, see where that gets ya...

This should be a destination spot for you if you like the night life. The Deadhorse has this gothic chick vibe to it that is just laid back. The giant horse statue in the center of the bar is gorgeous and the overall scene is just relaxing. From pool to live music, couches for those of us who want to sit The Deadhorse has two patio areas a large one that is fenced off with a privacy fence in back that has a large block jenga game set up for coustomers or one in the front which is smaller and just gated off. The Deadhorse is a non smoking bar so the patio areas are the only place you can smoke but to be honest this bar is so great that it really does not ruin your experience. Just stop in one night and enjoy! I go every time I'm in Angelo and it only ever gets better with each visit!
