This was the first time I have paid to ride single track and was not excited about it. Turns out it was more than worth it.Technical - There is nothing I would consider technical features. It is a really well laid out network with a great feel.Scenic - The trails are good, but the overall atmosphere and environment you are riding in is wonderful. Great views, riding different terrains, water incorporated regularly and evergreens and wildflowers, just gorgeous.I think there is something there for everyone who is looking to putting on some fun miles. Criticism - The maps and markings are the worst I have ever seen. It is like someone with no mapping or outdoors experience developed them. I would do it again.

Great bike race! We should have camped there. Wish they had had more food options locally. We will go back next year!

We attended a mountain bike race last Sunday, in which our granddaughter was riding. She & our son both said it was a difficult and in parts, technical course. I am happy we did not stay there in our RV.

Enjoyed a great trail race out at RHR. This was one of the most beautiful parks I've seen. great trails (challenging on foot) Most trails dip in and out of ravines all day long.

The owners are investing in this campground/bike trail in SMITHVILLE. Please, Trip Advisor, move it to a Smithville heading.

Great place to go for a long ride. You could easily spend 4 hours riding around at this place. Be sure to stop by the saloon for a beer and cheeseburger on your way out.

Rocky Hill Ranch is one of the best MTB trail facilities in Texas (or the world). Their website is at boomersrockyhill. The trails are $8/day to ride and there is primitive and RV camping available at the Saloon. Sign in to ride at the Blue Building (Boomer's Bicycles) near the trail head.
